Drip tray

The device is equipped with a removable drip tray N. When the drip tray is mounted, the available space

between the drip tray and the funnel = 8.5 cm.

When the drip tray N is full, the oat cover R will visibly appear on the removable cup shelf K.

Remove the drip tray N from the device and empty it by lifting the removable cup shelf K. Rinse it with running

water, dry it with a dry cloth and place it back on the device.

4) CLEANING - MAINTENANCE & DESCALING

Descaling

To maintain its performance, it is recommended to descale the device on a monthly basis in case of regular use.

Only use a toxic free detergent such as citric acid or vinegar!

Pour some citric acid or vinegar into the water tank.

Let the liquid ow as described in “Pre-heating”.

Repeat these steps two or three times, preferably on a full tank, to get rid of the scale completely.

The steam wand also needs to be descaled.

Let the steam ow as described in “Making steam”, for at least 2 minutes.

Repeat these steps two or three times, preferably on a full tank, to get rid of the scale completely.

After completion, the water tank and device need to be cleaned!

Pour out all liquid, rinse the tank and add pure fresh water in the water tank up to the “MAX” mark.

Dispense the water until the tank is empty, as described in “Pre-heating” & “Making Steam”.

Repeat these steps, each time with new fresh water, so the water lled in the device cleans the pump and the

pipes, before you consume coffee or use the steam wand.

In case the device will not be used for a long period of time, clean it and remove the wastewater.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Remove the plug from the power socket and allow the device to fully cool down.

• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.

• Detach the metal funnel by turning it clockwise, get rid of coffee residue inside, and clean it with rinse water.

• Clean the device after each use.

• Clean the casing and insides with a damp cloth.

• Do not use any washing up liquids in the water tank!

• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these damages the

device.

• Dry the device thoroughly.

• Store the device in a dry place.

• Protect the device against vibrations and shocks during transport.
