The DC S230T ( T opha ndle) is a ver y light an d handy ch ain saw with the hand le on th e
top. This mode l was developed espe cially f or t ree surg ery and c are. Only pe rsons
who have completed training in wor king from elevated platfor ms (cherr y pickers, lifts),
from pl atforms mo unted on ladders or who ar e profici ent in c limbing with ropes are
perm itted to operate th is chain saw .
The auto matic ch ain lubri cation with variable-flow oil pum p and ma intenance- free
electro nic ignitio n ensu re trouble-f ree operat ion, while the hand-saving a nti-vibratio n
system and e rgonomic grips and controls m ake work easier , sa f er, and less tiring f or
the u ser .
The s af ety feat ures of th e DCS230T are state of the ar t and me et all Ger man and
inter nationa l safety standards.
They include handgua rds on both grips, grip sa f e ty , chain catch, safety saw chain ,
and chai n brake. The ch ain brake can b e actuated manually , and is also in er tia-actu -
ated auto matically in cas e of kickback.
