The DCS230T/DCS231T/DCS232T (T ophandle) is a v ery light and handy chain saw
with the handle on the top . This model was dev eloped especially for tre e surgery and
care. Only persons who ha ve completed trai ning in working from ele vated platf or ms
(cherry pickers , lifts), from platf or ms mounted on ladders or who are proficient in
climbing with ropes are permitted to operate thi s chain saw .
The automatic chain lubrication with va riable-flow oil pu mp and maintenance-free
electronic ignition ensu re trouble- free operation, whil e the hand-saving anti-vibration
system and ergonomic g rips and controls mak e work easier , saf er , and less tiring for
the user .
The safet y f eatures of the DCS230T/DCS231T/ DCS232T are state of the art and
meet all German and international saf ety standards.
They include handguards on both grips , grip saf ety , chain ca tch, saf ety saw chain,
and chain brak e. The chain brak e can be actuated manuall y , and is also inertia-actu-
ated auto maticall y in case of kickback.
In order to ensure the proper functioning and performance of y our
new chain saw , and to safeguard y our own personal safety , it is
