Tochange between these two modes, you must hold
theDampingswitch(17)downforatleasttwoseconds.
WheninmanualmodetheStoreswitch(19)lightsred
andtheselectedchannellight(3or5)willstarttoflash.
Theamplifierwillrememberthelastmodeitwasinafter
poweroffand revert to it the next time it is powered on.
Preset
Thisisthefactorydefaultoperationoftheamplifier.
InPresetmodethepositionofallcontrolsexcept
MasterVolume (16) are stored within each channel.
Eachchannelshouldbeconsideredapreset.
Selectingachannelautomaticallyrecallsthesettings
storedwithinthechannel.Note:The physical position of
thefrontpanelcontrols,exceptMasterVolume (16)
whichisnotstorable,willnownotmatchtheactual
settingsoftheunit.Allfront panel switches will
automaticallyupdate.
Alteringacontrolwillcausetheassociatedparameterto
jumptothecurrentphysicalpositionofthatcontrol.
Whenacontrolisalteredtheselectedchannellight(3
or5)willstarttoflashindicatingthatthecurrentpreset
hasbeenaltered.
Tostore the updated settings, push the Store switch
(19).
IfyouselectanotherchannelwithoutpressingStore
(19)thenanyalteredsettingswillbelostasthenew
channelanditssettingsarerecalled.
Manual
Inmanualmodetheampssettingsalwaysmatchthe
physicalpositionsofthecontrols.
Changingchannelonlychangesthechannel,NO
presetsarerecalled,NOothercontrolsarealtered.
PressingStore(19)willstorethecurrentsettingsinto
theselectedchannel.These can then be recalled when
usingtheunitinPresetmode.
Whenchannelsettingshavebeenstoredthecurrent
channellight(3or5)willstopflashingindicatingthe
presethasbeensaved.
Reverb&FX
Theamplifierprovidesthreesimultaneouseffects,
Reverb,DelayandoneofthreeModulationeffects
(Chorus,Phaser, or Flanger).
Reverb
TheReverbcontrolsetstheamountofsignalsentto
thereverbsection-allowingthereverbtospillbetween
channelsasdifferentpresets are recalled. The Rev
switch(8)switchesthereverbeffecton and off, the
statusofthereverbisalsoindicatedonthe
footcontroller.
FX
TheFXsectionconsistsoftwoeffects,Delay and
Modulation.The FX section can be globally turned on
andoffvia the FX switch (11).
Delay
TheDelaycontrol(14)setstheamountofsignalsentto
thedelaysection.WhentheDelaycontrol(14)issetto
‘0’the delay is switched off.
Modulation
TheModcontrol(12)issplitintothreesegmentsand
selectsthetypeofmodulationeffectsand adjusts its
associatedsettings.WhentheModcontrol(12)issetto
‘0’the modulation effectsare switched off.
TapTempo
TheTapTemposwitch(13)isusedfortheDelayeffect
only.
TheTapTemposwitchmatchesthedelaytimetothe
timebetweentwopresses.
TheTapTempoLEDflashesredatthe
selected/recalleddelaytime.
Thenumberofrepeatsisreducedasthedelaytime
decreases.
Ifyouchangefromachannelwithdelaytoonewithout
delaytheeffectwill spill between channels.
Ifyouchangefromachannelwithdelaytoachannel
withdelaysettoadifferentdelay time the delay effect
willnotspillbetweenchannels.
MP3/LineIn
The3.5mmMP3/LineInsocket(24)ontherearpanel
allowstheconnectionofanexternalaudiosourcee.g.
MP3orCDplayer.

Headphones&LineOut
The3.5mmHeadphonessocket(18)allowsthe
connectionofapairofheadphones.Whenajackis
insertedintotheheadphonessockettheunit’sspeaker
ismuted.
AdditionallytheHeadphonessocket(18)canalsobe
usedasaLineOuttosendthesignaltoanexternal
equipmente.g.Acomputer, digital recorder or mixer.
Whenajackisinsertedintothesockettheunit’s
speakerismutedproviding‘silentrecording’.The unit’s
outputcanthenbemonitoreddirectlyfromtheexternal

Damping
TheDampingswitch(17)selectsbetweenthetwo
modesofpowerampdamping.WhenDampingisoff
(LEDoff),the power amp response resembles the feel
ofaclassicpowerampwithemphasizedmiddleand
limitedbassandtreble.SwitchingDampingon(LEDon)
willboostthespeakerresonancesbothinthebassand
highfrequencyranges.
FXLoop
TheFXReturnsocket(25)ontherearpanelisusedto
connecttheOUTPUTof the effects processor or pedal
youareusingintheeffectsloop.
TheFXloopisseriesandsetatinstrumentlevelso
bothguitarFXorprofessionalunitscanbeconnected.
TheFXSendsocket(26)ontherearpanelisusedto
connecttotheINPUTof the unit you are using in the
effectsloop.
TheFXloopisswitchedonandoffvia the Ext FX
switch(15)onthefrontpanel.
