THE PROBLEM: WHY IT IS HAPPENING: THE SOLUTION:

I closed the safe and it opens automatically,

red light blinks and safe beeps 3 times

The door was not closed far enough when the lock button was pushed,

and the bolts hit the safe wall

Scan your finger or use the key to retract the bolts and repeat the closing process. The

locking button will not function if this problem occurs

Red indicator light blinks and there are 3 beeps

after opening the safe

Battery power is low Install four (4) new AA alkaline batteries

Safe door will not open 1. Override key is in the locked position

2. Battery power is low

1. Ensure that the key is in the unlocked position

2. Replace batteries

Safe door will not open (no lights or sound) Battery power is dead Use the Micro USB to open the safe and replace batteries or use the override key to open

the safe

Red indicator light blinks and the safe beeps

ﬁve times

The ﬁngerprint memory is full Delete ﬁngerprints

Sensor failed to read ﬁngerprint Review the additional notes in the ﬁngerprint programming section

The scanner is unable to identify the ﬁngerprint 1. Do not choose a ﬁnger with a cut or scar

2. Make sure hands are clean and dry before programming or operating the

ﬁngerprint scanner

3. The ﬁngerprint sensor may not work well when cold

Limited Two-Year Manufacturing Warranty

This product is warranted to the original purchaser for two (2) years from the date of purchase. If during that two-year period, this product or any part of the product fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, Master

Lock Company LLC (“Master Lock”) will at its own and sole discretion, repair or replace the product or part free of charge for the original purchaser. Simply contact Master Lock at the most convenient site listed below for

instructions on obtaining repair or replacement. Return of the defective product or part at the customer’s expense, along with proof of purchase, may be required. This limited warranty applies only to defects in materials

and workmanship, and does not cover products which have been abused, altered, or misused. This limited warranty also does not cover damage resulting from ﬁre (except for ﬁre-resistant products) or from water (except for

water-resistant products), or from theft or vandalism.

THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT ONLY. The limited warranty does not cover labor for removing, reinstalling or reﬁnishing the product or part, or other materials removed, reinstalled or reﬁnished in

order to repair or replace the product or part. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MASTER LOCK DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS

FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT THAT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES MAY NONETHELESS EXIST BY OPERATION OF LAW, SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION PROVIDED BY LAW.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

The statements made herein are your sole and exclusive remedy against Master Lock and Master Lock shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or otherwise,

including property damage or property loss (including loss or damage of the contents of any product), lost data, lost revenues and lost proﬁts, arising out of any theory of recovery, including statutory, contract or tort.

Notwithstanding the term of any limited or implied warranty, or in the event that any of these limited warranties fails of its essential purpose, in no event will Master Lock’s entire liability exceed the purchase price of this

product. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. Some states and provinces do not allow

limitation on how long a limited warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. These limited warranties give you speciﬁc legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and

province to province. Products purchased in the EU are governed by consumer laws which provide statutory guaranty rights in addition to the warranty stated on any packaging or website associated with this product.

Any warranty stated on any packaging or website associated with this product is not valid in Australia. Product sold in Australia is governed by the consumer warranty contained in the Australian Consumer Law.
