CHORD

DICT.

LESSON

Chord Dictionary is essentially a built-in “chord book”

showing you the individual notes of the chords.

It is ideal for you to learn the name of certain chords

and to learn how to play them instantly.

In song mode (when song is not playing),Press and

hold [CHORD DICT./R] button 2 seconds to enter the

DICT mode.

The LCD shows “diCt”. In this mode, the keyboard

notes in the right area can be played to assign the

Chord Type and the Chord Root.

For example, if we want to play a Cm7 Chord. Press

the C key in the section of the keyboard labeled Chord

Root. (The note does not sound).

The root note you set will be shown on the display.

Press the m7 key in the section of the keyboard

which has labeled Chord Type (The note does not

sound).The notes you should play for the specified

chord (root note and chord type) are shown on the

display as the notation and also in the keyboard

diagram.

When the Chord Type and Chord Root are confirmed,

the LCD will display the Chord and its keyboard

position. A bell sound will be heard if you play it

correctly.

Press [CHORD DICT./R] button again to exit the Chord

Dictionary mode.

Akkoordenboek

Chord Dictionary is in feite een ingebouwd

“akkoordenboek” dat de individuele noten van akkoorden

toont. Het is uitstekend geschikt om de namen van

speciﬁeke akkoorden te leren en om ze vlot te leren

spelen.

1. In de SONG-modus (wanneer de song niet wordt afgespeeld),

houd de toets CHORD DICT./R 2 seconde ingedrukt om de

DICT-modus te starten.

Het LCD-venster toont “diCt”. In deze modus kunnen in het

rechtergedeelte noten worden gespeeld om het akkoordtype

en de grondtoon van het akkoord te bepalen.

2. Als je bijvoorbeeld een Cm7 wilt spelen: Druk op de C-toets in

het gedeelte van het klavier dat is aangeduid als Chord Root.

De noot zal niet te horen zijn. De grondtoon die je hebt

gekozen wordt in het venster getoond.

Druk op de m7-toets in het gedeelte van het klavier dat is

aangeduid als Chord Type. De noot zal niet te horen zijn. De

noten die je moet spelen voor dit speciﬁeke akkoord

(grondtoon+akkoordtype) worden in het LCD-venster op de

notenbalk weergeven en in de afbeelding van klavier.

3. Wanneer het akkoordtype en de grondtoon zijn bevestigd,

toont het venster het akkoord en de positie op het klavier. Er

klinkt een belgeluid als het correct wordt gespeeld.

4. Druk nogmaals op de toets CHORD DICT./R om het

akkoordenboek te sluiten.

OPMERKING:

Noten die je speelt voor het toewijzen van het akkoordtype

en de grondtoon zijn niet te horen.

Als je het akkoord correct speelt, wordt er een klapgeluid

weergegeven.

Als het akkoord niet correct wordt gespeeld, wordt er een

basgeluid weergegeven.

Het akkoord moet beneden het splitpunt, in het

akkoordgebied, worden gespeeld.
