• Foods wrapped in foil
or similar and very thick
slices of bread must
not be heated on the
appliance, as this could
lead to a fire hazard.
• Do not use the
appliance to toast or
heat bread with runny
fillings, sugar or icing,
as they may get stuck
on the appliance and
burn.
• Do not use the
appliance to toast bread
with a topping, butter,
etc. and never use it
to toast anything other
than bread.
PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Wipe the exterior surfaces of the
appliance with a damp cloth and let
the appliance dry.
• Allow the appliance to run through an
entire toasting cycle without bread.
The first few times the appliance is
used, there may be a small amount
of smoke and a slight smell. This is
completely normal, and the smoke/
smell will soon disappear. Please
ensure sufficient ventilation.

USE
1. Remove any packaging from the
bread before toasting.
2. Place the bread on the grille.
3. Set the browning level from 1 to 6
using the knob (4). The higher the
setting, the longer the time and the
darker the toast will be.
4. Press the on button to turn on the
appliance and start toasting. You can
turn the bread over during toasting.
5. The appliance switches off
automatically when the bread is
toasted. You can interrupt toasting at
any time by pressing the off button
(3).
5. Remove the toast from the grille. Be
careful not to burn yourself on the
bread or the hot grille.
IMPORTANT!
• If small pieces of bread fall through
the grille, unplug the toaster and
leave it to cool down.
