USING THE APPLIANCE
The appliance is designed to provide comforting
warmth to part of the body, e.g. for cold limbs, stiff
back, to relax stiff muscles or as preparation for
massage.
• Do not use if appliance is bent, curled or fol-
ded.
• Check set button on control unit is at "0" (off).
• Plug in and switch the power on.
• Do not use with other cords than that supplied.
Fit cord by clicking into place with plug on ap-
pliance.
• Spread blanket directly over the mattress with
the side where the plug is (certain models) face
down on the mattress. Check blanket is evenly
spread. Spread sheet over blanket and make
the rest of the bed as normal.
• Switch on by setting the set button to the level
required:
o Level 1 is the lowest, providing gentle heat.
o Level 2 and subsequent levels give more po-
werful heat.
• If the appliance has been in constant use for
90 minutes, it will go automatically to standby
status. The heat will go off when the standby
indicator comes on.
o To continue use, switch off at set button (po-
sition “0”), and leave switched off for approx.
5 seconds before switching on at the level
required.
o Check standby indicator goes off. The appli-
ance can now be used for a further 90 minutes.
• Switch off after use (position "0") and discon-
nect from the mains. Allow to cool down
completely before putting it away.
TIP: You can increase the effect and gain more
heat by covering the heat surface with a blanket,
duvet or the like, to concentrate the heat at the
desired spot.
TIP: To facilitate bed-making, certain models have
a detachable cord. Press in clips on either side of
plug to detach.
Storage
• Store in a dry place when not in use.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the appliance
when stored, they can cause permanent folds
or kinks.
• Avoid storing together with sharp objects which
can pierce the surface.
CLEANING ELECTRIC BLANKETS
Electric blankets can be washed, as all electrical
parts are sealed. We recommend washing at 30
ºC. Wash only if heavily soiled, as repeated wa-

2-3 times per year).
• Remove the control unit by pressing the clips
on both sides of the plug.
• Allow to cool down before cleaning.
Hand wash
• Use a mild detergent dissolved in 30 ºC hot
water.
• Allow to soak for 15 minutes.
• Rinse with cold water without wringing or sque
-
ezing (shake to remove water).
Machine wash
• You can wash the blanket in a washing ma
-
chine using a delicate wash programme (max.
temperature 30°C).
• Spread on a flat surface and allow to dry natu-
rally for 1-2 days until completely dry.
• Do not use appliance if damp.
