PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Removeallpackagingand
transport materials from the inside
and outside of the appliance.
• Checkthattheappliancehasno
visible damage and that no parts
are missing.
• Beforeusingtheappliancefor
thersttime(orafterprolonged
storage without use), wash any
parts that will come into contact
withfood.See“Cleaning”.
• Ifdesired,lubricatethe
attachments(12-19)andtheholder
(11) using a little vegetable oil
before use to avoid staining from
strongly coloured vegetables such
as carrots and beetroot.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Assembly
1. Placethebaseunit(8)onaat
surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, and
makesureitisstandingrmly.
2. Pushthecollectiontray(5)into
the base unit and ensure that the
handle end faces outwards.
3. Installthechosenattachmentinto
the holder, depending on what
you are going to use the appliance
for (see the section about the
individual attachments below).
Turntheholdersothatthepinon
the small handle faces upwards.
Place the attachment in the holder
so that the small round hole in the
attachmenttsoverthepinonthe
left side of the holder.
4. Place the holder with the installed
attachment onto the base unit so
that the rollers rest on the inside
edge.Theendwiththesmall
handle should be placed in the
furthermost end of the base unit.
5. Place the lid (6) onto the base unit
whilst ensuring that the slit in the
lidtsoverthepinontheholder’s
small handle. Press the lid until it
clicksintoplace.Usinganger,
check whether the holder can be
moved freely back and forth.
6. Installthemotorunit(9)abovethe
lid,sothatittsdownoverthepin
in the slit and the two pins at the
top of the lid.
7. Decidewhethertousethelarge
(7),medium(3)orsmall(2)feed
tube,dependingonthesizeofthe
vegetables you are going to chop/
slice.Selectthecorresponding
pusherthatmatchesthesizeofthe
feederopening.Seeexplanationin
the table below.
8. Thelockingring(4)xedaround
themedium-sizedfeedtubeis
equipped with a tongue that acts
asanoffbutton.Thetongue
shouldbettedintotherecess
aroundtheactivationpin(10)on
the motor unit before the appliance
canbestarted.Theapplianceis
designed so that this part is always
used, either as a feed tube or as a
part of the large pusher.
