Positioning the appliance
• Alwaysplacetheapplianceonadry,level,rmand
heat-resistant surface well away from any edges.
• Donotplaceonuntreatedwoodensurfaces,asthey
maybedamagedbytheheat.Alwaysplacethe
applianceatasafedistancefromammableobjects
such as curtains, tablecloths or similar.
• Theremustbeaclearanceofatleast10cmfrom
the sides of the appliance (including the rear) and
30cmabovetoensuresufcientventilation.The

Use
• Donotplaceobjectsontopoftheappliancewhile
in use.
• Theappliancewillbecomeveryhotduringuse.
Nevermovewhilsthot.Whentheovenishot,only
touch the oven door handle and the controls, and
be very careful when handling hot dishes, oven
accessories or foods – use oven gloves!
• Takecarewhenhandlinghotfoodandliquidsto
avoid burns and scalding. Do not heat food in
closed containers in the appliance, as the heat can
cause them to explode.
• Checkthattheventholesinthecabinetarenot
covered.Iftheyarecoveredwhiletheapplianceis
in use, there is a risk of overheating. Do not use the
appliance until it has cooled down.
• Neverinsertanythingintotheventilationslotsor
other openings.
• Makesureyoudonotscratchtheglassintheoven
door,andneverplaceobjectsontheovendoor
when it is open.
• Donotpourwaterontheglassintheovendoor
while hot, as this can cause the glass to crack.
Cord, plug and mains socket
• Donotletthecordhangoutovertheedgeofthe
work surface.
• Checkthatitisnotpossibletopullortripoverthe
cord or any extension cord.
• Keepcordandapplianceawayfromheatsources,
hotobjectsandnakedames,includinggasburners
and electric hotplates.
• Turnoffandunplugtheapplianceassoonasyou
havenishedusingit,beforecleaningitorifthe
applianceisnotinuse.Avoidpullingthecordwhen
removingtheplugfromthesocket.Instead,holdthe
plug.
• Ensurethatthecordisfullyextended.
• Donottwistthecord.
• Checkregularlythatneithercordnorplugis
damaged and do not use if they are, or if the
appliance has been dropped or damaged in any
other way.

have the appliance inspected and if necessary

Fire hazard!
Toreducetheriskofreoccurringintheoven
compartment, please note the following points:
• Donotcovertheappliance’sheatingelementsor
sides with tin foil.
• Donotusesteelscourersforcleaning,sinceitis
possible for steel fragments to break off, increasing

• Useonlydishesandcontainersintendedforusein

• Donotusetheovencompartmentforstoring
