INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new appliance, please read through these instructions
carefully before using it for the first time. We also recommend that you keep the
instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of
the appliance.
SAFETY MEASURES
General
Incorrect use of the appliance may cause personal injury and damage to it.
Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any
injury or damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Warranty
Terms).
For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz only.
For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or commercial use.
The fan should be set up on a stable and level surface to avoid it being knocked
over.
It is not advisable to expose people, in particular babies and the elderly, to a
continuous stream of cold air.
The appliance or cord must not be placed in water or any other liquid.
Never touch the appliance, cord or plug with wet or damp hands.
Never insert your fingers, pencils or other objects through the cage during
operation.
Never leave unattended when in use, and keep an eye on children.
Always turn the appliance off using the on/off button, and unplug it, when it is
not in use.
Do not place or store near other heat sources or in a damp environment.
Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods.
Never try to repair the appliance yourself.
Unauthorized repairs or modifications will invalidate the guarantee. Please
contact the store where you bought the appliance for repairs under guarantee.
Cord, plug and mains socket
Keep Cord away from hot objects and open flame.
Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over the cord or any extension cord.
Check regularly that the cord and plug are not damaged and do not use it if
there is any damage, or if it has been dropped on the floor, dropped in water or
damaged in any other way.
If the appliance or plug is damaged, it must be inspected and, if necessary,
repaired by an authorized repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk or electric
shock.
Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Instead, hold
the plug.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD)
having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in
the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
Ensure that the cable does not get caught beneath the device, in drawers,
behind shelves etc.
Do not run the cable under carpets, rugs, etc.
Ensure the cable is kept away from busy areas to avoid anyone tripping over it.

FITTING:
Place the 2 base feet so they form a cross.
Attach the stand to the base feet using the 4 screws.
Turn the height adjustment ring counterclockwise off from the stand.
Place the base cap so it covers the 4 screws.
Loosen the height adjustment ring.
Slide out the stand to the desired height and tighten the height adjustment ring
firmly.

children in the vicinity of the appliance when it is being used. The appliance

• If the appliance, cord or plug has been damaged, have the appliance
inspected and if necessary repaired by an authorised repairer. Never try to
repair the appliance yourself. Please contact the store where you bought the
appliance for repairs under the guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or
modifications to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.
