Drive programImay not be used on normal
roads. Drive programImay be activated and
used only on dedicated race circuits, not on pub-
lic roads.
Mercedes-AMG recommends selecting the drive
programAwhen in city trac or stop-and-go
trac.
Depending on the drive program selected, thefol-
lowing vehicle characteristics will change:
RDrive
-Engine and transmission management
RAMG Dynamics
-The four agility functions Basic, Advanced,
Pro and Master are automatically selected
depending on the drive program.
-The steering, shi timing point, all-wheel
drive and stabilization functions are adap-
tedto the selected drive program.
-When ESP®is activated, agility function
Pro is selected in drive programI. The
Master function is automatically selected
when ESP®is deactivated.

RDrive programIis characterized by the
following:
-The vehicle exhibits driving characteristics
suited fortheracetrack.
-All vehicle systems are set for maximum
sportiness.
-The automatic transmission shis up later.
-The suspension exhibits particularly rm
springing and damping settings.
-Glide mode is not available.
-The sporty sound characteristic of the
exhaust system is activated.
%You can call up vehicle characteristics via the
Performance menu in the on-board computer
(/page 24).
%You can adjust the agility functions of AMG
Dynamics using the AMG steering-wheel but-
tons.
You can also change thefollowing vehicle charac-
