thevehicle interior,especially if theperson is
sitting tooclose to thecockpit.
If thefront passenger seat is occupied,
alwaysensurethat:

front passenger seatiscorrect and the
front passenger airbag is enabled or disa‐
bledinaccordance withthe person in the
front passenger seat.

The front passenger seathas been moved
as farbackaspossible.

The person is seated correctly.

ney, that thestatus of thefront
passenger airbag is correct.
If thefront passenger seat is occupied, theclas‐
sification of theperson or child restraint system
on thefront passenger seat takesplace afterthe
front passenger airbag shutoffself-test. The
PASSENGER AIR BAGindicator lamps displaythe
status of thefront passenger airbag.
