• Remove all plastic bags, stickers and the protection film from the sole plate.
• Place the appliance on a dry, stable, ant-slip and heat resistant surface.
• Unroll the cord completely.
• Clean the cold sole plate with a soft damp cloth.
• Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased during production and as a result may smoke
slightly for a short time when switched on for the first time. This will stop after a while.

Warning! Danger of serious burns! Never touch the hot sole plate!
Never leave the iron unattended when it is connected.
Danger of electric shock! Never open the filling opening and never fill water when
appliance is in operation!
How to fill water
• Always unplug before filling (and emptying) the water tank.
• Set the steam control to the “0” position.
• Open the cover of water filling mouth, then fill water. Distilled water can prolong the lifetime
of the iron.
• Pull up the cover of water filling mouth, put the iron on the level way
Note: Do not put vinegar or other anti-lime agents into the water reservoir, this can cause
damage. Tip: You can use distillate water to fill the water tank, this avoids calcinations.
Ironing
Turn the temperature control to „off“ before plugging into the mains socket.
Turn temperature control to the desired temperature. Always check first to see whether a label
with ironing instruction is attached to the article to be ironed.

How to iron with steam
• Steam ironing is only possible at higher temperatures.
• Use steam ironing, turn the steam control to “0” position and set the temperature control at
the  or  position.
• After the indicator goes out, turn the steam control to the maximum position, steam will be
sprayed, ironing can start.
• After ironing complete, turn the temperature control to the “min” position, pull out the plug,
pour out the remaining water, turn the steam control to “0” position. In vertical position
steaming is being stopped automatically. Water may leak from the soleplate if the
temperature is too low. Then set the temperature control to a higher temperature.
