󽞸 Close the lid and place the appliance onto the power base, plug in and switch on, indicator light will
turn on. The jug kettle starts heating up.
󽞸 The kettle will automatically switch off, the pilot light will switch off. To reboil simply set the switch to
"ON" again after a few minutes. You may interrupt the boiling at any time by switching to the "0FF"
position again.
󽞸 The appliance is equipped with a safety system and will automatically switch off, should the kettle be
accidentally operated without or with not enough water.

The decalcification intervals depend on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use.
Decalcification should be carried out every 3 – 4 month. Please use a commercially available
decalcification agent and read the instruction of use.

First read the instructions in the section titled “safety cautions”.
Never allow the connector parts to become wet nor immerse the kettle into water. Wipe the unit only with
a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents sharp edged metallic objects.
Empty the kettle and allow to cool down, opening the lid lift out the filter, rinsing the filter under warm
water and brushing off any impurity.
Calcifying is a common problem in hard water areas, and it is recommended that a commercial descaling
fluid is used to remove lime deposits.
