Clock / timer display night setting
Between the hours of 22:00 and 6:00
the brightness of the clock / timer
display is dimmed automatically to give
a slight energy saving.
The display will appear dimmer during
this period if the time of day is set to be
on all the time.
Turning the function selector or
pressing a button on the control panel
during this period will bring the timer
display back on in full brightness.
To switch off the time of day display
^ Turn the function selector to "0".
^ Press the temperature and clock /
timer selector buttons at the same
time until three horizontal bars are
visible in the oven display.

Then press the clock / timer – button
whilst the triangles are flashing in
both displays.
Four horizontal bars will then appear in
the clock / timer display.
When the time has been entered, the
display goes dark and the clock
advances minute by minute in the
background.
Switching on the catalyser
Your appliance has a catalyser built-in
to the ventilation system.
When switched on, the catalyser
removes fat particles from the air
circulating in the oven and also
reduces cooking smells.
The B 5.64-2 UT and B 8664-2 UT
ovens are supplied from the factory
with the catalyser switched off.
To switch the catalyser on, please push
the lever located underneath the control
panel to the right to position "I".
