Method:
1For a quick smooth soup fill the Soup Maker past the MIN mark
with a selection of diced vegetables (using ready prepared chopped
vegetables is ideal.)
2Add the vegetable or chicken stock cubes and fill to the MAX mark
with water.
3Select the smooth setting. Once the soup is ready, season to taste
and serve.

•700g assorted vegetables,
diced. (Bagged mixed
vegetables from the
supermarket is ideal)

•2 chicken or vegetable stock
cubes

Basic Vegetable Soup

Method:
1Pre-heat the oven to 200oC / Gas Mark 6.
2Place the tomatoes skin side up into a roasting tin with the red
onion and garlic. Drizzle over the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and
season with salt and milled pepper. Roast for 20-30 minutes until
softened and slightly charred.
3Carefully place the roasted vegetables into the Soup Maker pour in
the chicken stock, add the tomato puree, brown sugar, fresh basil.
4Select the smooth setting. Once the soup is ready, season to taste
and serve.

•8 very ripe tomatoes (640g)
cut in half
•2 red onions (215g) cut into
wedges
•4 garlic cloves
•1 tbsp olive oil
•1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
•Salt and ground black pepper
•750ml chicken stock, made
from stock cube
•2 tsp tomato puree
•1 tsp brown sugar
•10g fresh basil leaves
