to a SUNCORP Authorized R epair Center .
T o obtain service, y ou must include: (a ) the Product or Ac cessory; (b) the original proof of
purchase ( receipt) which includes the date, place and seller of the Product; ( c) if a warranty card
was included in y our box, a complet ed warranty card showing the serial number of the Pr oduct;
( d) a written description of the problem; and, most importantly; ( e) your addr ess and telephone
number .
T echnical Information
How many telephones can I have ? All items of telephone equipment have a Ringer Equivalence
Number (REN), which is used to calculate the number of items which ma y be connected to any
one telephone line. Y our C1LB+ has a REN of 1. A total REN of 4 is allowed. If the total REN of 4 is
exceeded, the telephones may not ring. With dier ent telephone types, ther e is no guarantee of
ringing, even when the REN is less than 4.
Any additional handsets and char gers that y ou register ha ve a REN of 0.
Connecting to a switchboard
This product is intended for use within Singapor e for connection to the public telephone netw ork.
Recall
Y ou may need t o use the recall function if you ar e connected to a switch. Contact your P ABX
supplier for further information.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or ex clusion of incidental or consequential
damages, or limitation on the length of an implied warranty , so the abo ve limitations or e xclusions
may not apply to you. This warranty gives y ou specic legal rights, and you ma y also have other
rights that vary fr om one jurisdiction to another .

the product resulting fr om misuse; (b) c ontact with liquid, water , rain, extreme humidity or hea vy
perspiration, sand, dirt or the lik e, extreme heat, or food; ( c) use of the Pr oducts or A ccessories for
commercial purposes or subjecting the Product or Acc essory to abnormal usage or conditions; or
( d) other acts which ar e not the fault of M otorola or SUNCORP are ex cluded from cov erage.
Use of N on-Motorola branded Products and Accessories. Defects or damage that result fr om
the use of Non-Mot orola branded or certied Pr oducts or Accessories or other peripheral
equipment are ex cluded from cov erage.
Unauthorized Service or Modication. Defects or damages r esulting from service, testing,
adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration, or modication in an y w ay by someone other
than Motorola, SUNCORP or its authorized service c enters, are excluded from cov erage.
Altered Products. Pr oducts or Accessories with ( a) serial numbers or date tags that ha ve been
remov ed, altered or obliterat ed; (b) brok en seals or that show evidenc e of tampering; ( c )
mismatched board serial numbers; or ( d) nonconforming or non-Motorola branded housings, or
parts, are ex cluded from cov erage.
Communication Services. Defects, damages, or the failure of Products or Accessories due to any
communication service or signal you may subscribe to or use with the Pr oducts or A ccessories is
excluded fr om coverage.

No Caller ID
• Check y our subscription with your netw ork operator .
• The caller may have withheld their number .
• The record cannot be found in your phonebook. Check that you have the correct name /
number stor ed in your phonebook, with the full area code.
I have forgotten my PIN!
• Restor e your C1LB+ to its default settings, see “6.7 Emer gency default” ,.
Cannot register a handset to the base
• Y ou can register up to a maximum of 5 handsets to a C1LB+ base. Y ou must de-register a
handset in order to register a ne w one.
• Check that you have enter ed the correct PIN code ( default = 0000).
• Check that you are at least one metre awa y fr om other electrical equipment to av oid
interference when registering.
Handset does not ring
• The handset ringer volume may be set to O.
Noise interference on m y phone or on other electrical equipment nearb y
• Place y our C1LB+ at least one metre awa y from electrical applianc es or any metal
obstructions to av oid any risk of interference.
11. General information
IMPORT ANT
This equipment is not designed to mak e emergency telephone calls when the power fails.
Alternative arrangements should be made for access to emergency services.
This product is intended for c onnection to analogue public switched telephone netw orks and
private switchboards in Singapore.
Important safety instructions

9.2 Register a dierent mak e of handset to your C1LB+ base

DEC T GAP Prole only guarantees that basic calling functions will work correctly betw een
dierent makes / types of handset and base. There is a possibility that certain features such as
Caller ID will not w ork correctly.
On the base:

for 3 seconds until you hear two beeps. The base will remain in r egistration
mode for 90 seconds.
On the handset:

9.3 Select a base
If your C1LB+ handset is r egistered to more than one base (e.g. one at work and one at home ),
you can select which base to use.

9. Using additional handsets
Y ou can register up to ve handsets to your C1LB+ base to extend your phone s ystem without
having to install e xtension sockets for each new phone.
Each C1LB+ handset can be registered with up to four bases. Y ou can then select the base y ou
prefer to use. If you have pur chased a C1LB+ multiple pack, all additional handsets come pre-
registered to the base.
If you have pur chased an additional handset separately, you must regist er it to your C1LB+ base
before it can be used.
9.1 Registering an additional handset

Handset batteries must be fully charged before you start to register . Hold your handset close to
the base during the registration process. Handsets that w ere supplied with your C1LB+ base are
already pre-registered.
On the base:
1. Press and hold
for 3 seconds until you hear two beeps. The base will remain in r egistration

8.1 Caller ID
If you have subscribed to a Caller ID Service, you will be able to see your caller’s number on your
handset (pr ovided it is not withheld) prior to answering the call. The display can show the rst 12
digits or characters of the phone numbers and names.
If your caller’ s name and number are stored in the phonebook and a number match is f ound, you
will see the caller’s name on the display instead.
8.2 Calls list
The Calls list stores details of your last 40 received calls, including the phone number and date
and time of the call.
The Calls list also alerts y ou when y ou have unanswer ed calls.
The caller’s details are stor ed in the Calls list whether or not you have answ ered the call. The list is
shared by all handsets registered to the base. When the list is full, and a new call is r eceived, the
oldest entry will be deleted automatically .
When a new call is r eceived in the Calls list,
icon will flash on the display in standb y mode t o
alert you. When you have vie wed the new call,
icon disappears but icon will r emain.
8.2.1 View the Calls list
