It can store up t o 59 messages within the maximum recor ding time of
30 minutes. Each message can be up to 3 minutes long. Y our personal
outgoing messages can be up to 3 minutes long.
Y ou can operate y our answering machine fr om:

Outgoing messages
This is the message your callers
hear on the answer machine. There
are tw o pre-recorded outgoing
messages, or you can record your
own.
Rec ord also
The caller can leav e a message.
The pre-recor ded message is
“Hello, your call cannot be tak en at
the moment, so please leave your
message after the tone. ”
Answer only
The caller can listen to your
announcement but cannot leave
a message. The pr e-recorded
message is “Hello, your call cannot
be tak en at the moment, and y ou
cannot leave a message, so please
call later . ”

Adjust volume
• During a call, press u or d to
adjust the earpiece or hands-free
volume. The level is shown in the

Mute
Mute the microphone so that you
can talk to someone else in the
room without your caller hearing
you.

microphone back on.
End a call
• Press e .
After you hang up, the duration the
phone is o-hook is display ed for 5
seconds.

The IT6TX handset phonebook
can store up t o 100 names and
numbers.
Numbers can be up to 24 digits
long and names up to 12 characters
long. Entries are stor ed in
alphabetical order .

K eypad lock
Pre vent accidental dialling while
carrying the handset by locking the
ke ypad.
While the k eypad is locked, you
can answer incoming calls as
normal.

The icon is not scrolling during charge
• Bad battery c ontact – move the handset slightly .
• Dirty contact – Clean the battery contact with a cloth moistened with
alcohol.
• Battery is full – no need to charge.
No dialling tone
• No power – check the connections. R eset the phone: unplug and plug
back in the mains.
• Batteries are empty – charge the batteries for at least 24 hours.
• Y ou are too far from the base – move closer to the base.
• Wr ong line cable – use the line cable provided.
• Line adaptor ( when needed) is not connected to the line cord – connect
the line adaptor ( when needed) to the line c ord.
P oor audio quality
• The base is too close to electrical appliances, reinforced concr ete walls
or metal doorframes – mo ve the base at least one metre awa y from an y
electrical appliances.
The icon is blinking or has disappeared
• Handset is not register ed to the base – register the handset to the base.
• Y ou are too far from the base – move closer to the base.
No ring tone
• The ring tone is deactivat ed.
• Increase the volume.
Caller ID service does not work
• Check y our subscription with your network operat or.
A phonebook entry cannot be stored
• The phonebook is full. Delete an entry to free memory .
No display
• T ry recharging or r eplacing the batteries.
• T ry disconnecting and connecting the base power supply.
• If LED is not lit up, then try disconnecting and connecting the base
power supply.
Unable to register another handset
• Maximum number of 5 handsets has been reached.
• The display shows

. Y ou must unregister a handset in order to
register a new one.
Answer machine does not record messages
• Switch the answer machine on.
• The memory ma y be full. If so, you will need to delete some messages.
