3.20 Intercom
This feature allows you to make internal calls, transfer
external home calls between the corded base and
cordless handset or other cordless handset extensions,
and use the conference option.
NOTE
Cellular call cannot be transferred.
3.20.1 Calling another cordless handset
1.
Press M and then /VOL+ or /REDIAL/
VOL- to select the cordless handset you want to call.
2.
Press P to call the cordless handset.
3.
Put the corded handset on the base cradle, or
press /SPEAKER (Base) if you are in
handsfree mode to hang up.
NOTE
If the cordless handset is not within the valid operation
range, this function may not be available.
During an intercom call, you will hear an alert tone if there
is an incoming external call. You need to hang up the
intercom call before answering the incoming external call.
3.20.2 Transferring an external home call to
another cordless handset
1.
During an external home call, press M.
Your caller is put on hold.
2.
Press /VOL+ or /REDIAL/VOL- to select the
cordless handset you want to call.
3.
Press P to call the cordless handset.
4.
When the other cordless handset answers by
pressing /FLASH or /SPEAKER, put the
corded handset on the base cradle or press /
SPEAKER (Base) to transfer the call. If the other
cordless handset does not answer, press
M to
talk to your caller again.
3.20.3 Three-party conference call
1.
During an external home call, press M.
Your caller is put on hold.
2.
Press /VOL+ or /REDIAL/VOL- to select the
cordless handset you want to call.
