3. To answer the intercom call

on the desnaon handset,

press HOME , CELL,

SPEAKER, or any dialing key

(0-9, or #QUIET).

Both handsets now show

Intercom.

4. To end the intercom call on

either handset, one party

presses OFF or places the

handset back in the telephone

base or handset charger.

Notes

• You can cancel the intercom call

before it is answered by pressing

CANCEL or INT on the

originang handset.

• If the desnaon handset does

not answer the intercom call

within 100 seconds, is on a call

or out of range, the originang

handset displays Unable to call

and returns to idle mode.

• Press CANCEL or MUTE

on the desnaon handset to

temporarily silence the intercom

ringer.

• Only one intercom call can be

established at a me.

Answering an incoming call

during an intercom call

When you receive an incoming

home call during an intercom

call, you will hear an alert tone.

Handsets ash and display the

caller ID.

When you receive an incoming cell

call during an intercom call, you

will hear an alert tone. Handsets

ash and display the caller ID.

• To answer a home call, press

HOME . The intercom call

ends automacally.

• To answer the cell call, press

OFF. The telephone connues

to ring. Then press CELL.

• To end the intercom call

without answering the outside

call, press OFF. The intercom

call ends and the telephone

connues to ring.

Call transfer using intercom

While on an outside call, you

can use the intercom feature to

transfer the call from one device

to another.

1. Press INT during a call.

-OR-

Press MENU during a call.

Press CID/ or / to scroll to

Intercom, then press SELECT.

• The screen displays

Intercom to:.

2. Use the dialing keys to enter a

handset number (1-5).

• The handset shows Calling HS

X. The desnaon handset

rings and shows HS X is

calling.
