• Disconnect the appliance:
- if it fails during operation,
- before maintenance or cleaning,
- after each use.
• Never disconnect the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
• If it is necessary to use an extension lead ensure that is in perfect
condition, has a socket outlet with an earth connection and that it is
suited to the power rating of the appliance.
• Household appliances must not be used:
- if dropped,
- if the disks are damaged.
• Always unplug the appliance if you are to leave it unattended and
before fitting or removing the disks.
• If the power lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a Tefal Approved
Service Centre in order to avoid any danger.
• Do not use accessories or spare parts other than those provided by the
approved after-sales centres.
• This product has been designed for domestic use only. In the event of
any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the
instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the
guarantee will not apply.
BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Using scissors, cut the two plastic ties (1 on the top of the lid and 1 on the
cartridge). Then remove the plastic wrap over the disc.
• Make sure you remove the disc storage attachment (I) at the top of the
appliance before use.
• Clean the accessories: disks (F1, F2, F3), disc support attachment (E),
container (D), lid (G) and pusher (H) in soapy water. Rinse and dry them
carefully.
• The disc blades are extremely sharp, handle the disks with care and
always hold by the plastic part.
USE
• Position the container (D) on the motor unit (A) making sure that the two
ridges under the container are fully inserted into the two notches (fig. 1).
• Select a disk depending on the desired use (F1, F2 or F3).

• Read the instructions for use carefully before using your appliance for
the first time: the manufacturer shall accept no liability in the event of
any use that does not comply with the instructions.

benefited from supervision or previous instructions relating to the use of

• This appliance complies with applicable standards and regulations.
• It is designed to work with alternating current only. We would ask you,
before using it for the first time, to check that the voltage of your mains
electrical supply corresponds to the voltage given on the rating plate on
the appliance.
• Do not place or use this appliance on a hotplate or near to a naked
flame (gas cooker).
• The appliance must only be used on a stable worktop, away from water
projections. Do not turn the appliance over.
• To avoid accidents and damage to the appliance, always keep your
hands and kitchen utensils out of reach of the disks when in use.
• Do not operate the appliance constantly for more than two minutes.
• Never remove the disks before the motor has come to a complete stop.
• Never push food with your hands, always use the pusher.
• Do not use the product for food that is too thick: (sugar, meat, ice cubes,
etc.).
