About this document

This document is the user manual and contains all the information

for correct, ecient and safe use of the product.

Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this

document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging

and this document for future reference.

Intended use

This product is intended as an infrared heating panel that can either

be mounted on the wall or placed on the oor.

This product can be controlled via the Nedis SmartLife app, the

buttons on the product or with the included remote control.

This product is intended for indoor use only.

Only use the product as described in this user manual.

Any modication of the product may have consequences for safety,

warranty and proper functioning.

This product is intended to be used in household and similar

applications such as kitchen areas.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities

or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe

way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play

with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done

by children without supervision.

This product is not intended to be used by persons suering

from sunburn, persons under medical care for diseases that

involve photosensitivity, and/or persons taking photosensitizing

medications.

This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional

use.

This product is not intended for professional use.

Safety instructions

To avoid overheating, do not cover the product.

6WARNING!

Electrical hazard:

• Do not use the product as freestanding when using the product

in the bathroom.

• Only mount the product on the wall in the bathroom in the

appropriate bathroom zones.

• Do not locate the product immediately below a power outlet.

• Only handle the product with dry hands. Handling with wet

hands might cause an electric shock.

• Unplug the product from the power source and other equipment

if problems occur.

• Do not plug the product in a power outlet of a power group with

other products that consume a lot of power.

• Only plug the power cable into a wall outlet. Do not use

extension cables.

• Do not open the product. The product may only be opened by an

authorised technician for maintenance.

• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.

• Before cleaning and maintenance, switch o the product and

disconnect the power. Let the product cool down completely.

• Only use the product with a properly grounded power outlet.

Fire hazard:

• Mount the product with a minimum distance of 15 cm from the

oor and 50 cm from the ceiling.

• Keep a minimum of 30 cm of free space on each side of the

product.

• If the product is not mounted to the wall, make sure to install the

feet properly before using the product.

• Do not use the product in rooms where ammable liquids or

gases are used or stored.

• The heat of the product may cause damage to the surface the

product is placed on. Always place the product on a at, stable

and heat resistant surface to prevent damage to the

surroundings of the product.

• Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Always

replace a damaged or defective product immediately.

• Do not use the product if the surface is cracked.

• To avoid overheating, do not cover the product. Keep a distance

of at least 1 meter from textiles, curtains, tent cloths and other

ammable objects to reduce the risk of a re.

• Do not use external timers or remote control systems to switch

the product on or o.

• Do not replace emitters with types that are specically indicated

on the appliance. The use of alternative components such as

lters and reectors can aect the radiation output.

• The product is not equipped with a device to control the room

temperature. Do not use this product in small rooms when they

are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their

own unless constant supervision is provided.

Choking hazard:

• Do not let children play with the packaging material. Always keep

the packaging material out of the reach of children.

• Battery usage by children should be supervised.

• Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery has been

swallowed.

Burn hazard:

• The surfaces of the product get hot during use. Only touch the

display and handles of the product to avoid burns.

• Always keep button cell batteries, both full and empty, out of

reach of children to avoid the chance of swallowing. Dispose of

used batteries immediately and safely. Keep in mind that the rst

symptoms may look like child diseases like coughing or drooling.

Seek immediate medical attention when you suspect that

batteries have been swallowed.

• Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.

Tripping hazard:

• Always keep the power cable and the product away from usual

walkways.

• Always unwind the power cable before using the product.
