Eliminating minor faults yourself
Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself based on the following
information.
A technician who is called out to give advice will charge you, even if the appliance is still
under guarantee.
The bulb is defective. Replace the bulb
1. Pull out the mains plug or disconnect the
fuse.
2. Pull off the grille e.
3. Change the bulb
(Replacement bulb, 220-240 V a.c.,
E14 lamp holder, see defective bulb for
wattage).
The light switch is sticking

Check whether the switch can be moved.
The condensation outlet is
blocked 3
Clean the condensation channel and outlet
(3, see "Cleaning the appliance")
Temperature has been set
too low.
Increase the temperature.
Appliance door opened
frequently.
Do NOT open the door unnecessarily.
The ventilation slots are
blocked.
Remove any obstructions.
The appliance is switched
OFF.
Press the main switch 2.
Power failure; the fuse has
tripped; the mains plug is
not in the socket properly.
Check that the power is on and check
whether any fuses have tripped.
