7. Enter a name for your location.
The Away Mode page displays a list of available modes. The away mode is the
detection mode used by the camera when you are away from the location that
you specified.
8. Tap the mode for the camera to use when you are away.
Typically the away mode is Armed or a custom mode that you created with an
armed setting.
If you set up two or more mobile devices with the Arlo app, you are prompted to
select the device to use for geofencing.
9. If prompted, tap the device to use for geofencing.
The Home Mode page displays a list of available modes. The home mode is the
detection mode used by the camera when you are at the location that you
specified.
10. Tap the mode for the camera to use when you are home.
Typically the home mode is Disarmed.
11. A summary screen displays your geofencing settings.
12. Tap Done.
A message displays telling you that setup is complete.
13. Tap Finish.
Schedule Your Camera Rules
You can set a schedule to activate and deactivate cameras automatically. Schedules
recur weekly. For example, the schedule for Tuesday is repeated every Tuesday as
long as the schedule is turned on. Arlo is preconfigured with the following schedule:
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All motion sensors are on.
• All other times. All motion sensors are o.
