Turn the camera on.
•Auto flash mode is automatically
activated. (No flash mode indicator
appears on the LCD panel.)
•The camera senses when the available
light is low and automatically fires the
flash.
• If you see any flash mode indicator on
the LCD panel, press the
@
J
button
until the indicator disappears.

Check that the green LED
comes on, then shoot.
•Before shooting with flash, make sure
the subject is within the flash shooting
distance range. Refer to the following
guide (ISO 200).
(28mm): approx. 0.7 to 6 m (2.3 to 19.7 ft.)
(80mm): approx. 0.75 to 2.2 m (2.5 to 7.2 ft.)
•
If “
J
” blinks on the LCD panel, the
flash is being charged and the shutter is
locked. Wait for “
J
” to disappear
before shooting.
The flash automatically fires when the available light is low.
