CLEANING/MAINTENANCE

• Turn the juicer off and remove the plug from the socket.

• Remove the lid, the separator and the blade unit/filter.

• Remove the pulp from the reservoir and the lid and clean both parts.

• Clean the blade unit/filter with water and a soft brush.

• Clean with motor housing with a damp cloth.

• Never immerse the motor housing in water.

The blade unit/filter is a fragile part that should be handled with care. Careless use of this part can

cause damage. Clean this part according to the following guidelines:

• Clean the blade unit/filter with water and a soft brush.

• Never put the blade unit/filter in the dishwasher.

• Never use bleach or scourers.

• Replace the blade unit/filter as soon as there are signs of damage or wear and tear.

The various individual parts should never be cleaned in the dishwasher.

FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PREPARATION

Important: Use only ripe fruit, otherwise the filter will clog quickly. Rinse or peel fruit or vegetables.

Remove the pips from fruits with large pips. Types of fruit with seeds (such as apples and pears) can be

processed with the peel and core. Peel fruit and vegetables with thick peels, (such as citrus fruit, melons,

kiwis, beetroot, etc.) before processing them. Remove from grapes only the thick stalks. Leafy vegetables

such as spinach should be tightly rolled and pushed through the feed shoot. Always slice fruit and

vegetables so that they fit through the feed shoot.

NOVA TIPS

• This juicer is only suitable for household use.

• Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned to avoid people tripping over it.

• If the juicer or cord is damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance and to take it to the retailer for

repair. A damaged cord can only be replaced by our Service Department.

• For safety reasons, we advise you not to carry out any repairs of your own to electrical appliances.

• Do not use this juicer outdoors.

• In case of damage and/or imbalance (intense vibration), you should by no means continue using the

juicer.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability,

or lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety

should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL

BROWN LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour

markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the

letter N or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the

letter L or coloured red.

WARNING: ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD EITHER THE LIVE OR NEUTRAL WIRES BE CONNECTED

TO THE EARTH TERMINAL
