• Now place the small round clamp on the tube or nozzle, with the end pointed downwards. This is

handy later for the storage mode.

• You can extend the tube to the length required by turning the arrow button on the black casing in the

direction of the arrow. When it is set to the right length, release the button.

• Now attach the nozzle to the tube and put it on the appropriate setting. The brush should be retracted

for cleaning all types of carpet. For hard smooth floors, the brush should be fully extended. The setting

can be adjusted by means of the buttons on the nozzle.

• Pull the cord out of the vacuum cleaner. When the coloured strip is visible, the cord is fully extended.

Do not pull further than this point.

• Switch on the appliance. Switch it on by pressing the on/off button in the handle.

• Set the suction power by means of the sliding control on the top.

• Difficult-to-reach nooks and crannies can easily be cleaned using one of the nozzles supplied. When

not in use, these attachments can be stored in the storage section in the top of the lid.

STORAGE

• Turn the appliance off using the on/off button on the top of the appliance.

• Remove the plug from the socket and press the button on the top of the appliance to roll the cord in

automatically.

• Put the appliance in storage mode by taking the tip of the lower clip that is attached to the tube, and

inserting it into the clasp on the underside or rear of the appliance. This depends on the position of the

storage clamp.

DUSTBAGS

Where can you buy them?

Princess bags (art. no. 332800) are available from department stores and specialist electrical stores.

Handy clean & bright bags (art. no. 0067) can be found at Blokker. Our Service Center has details of

the addresses where these bags and the Hepa filter are stocked.

Replacing the bag:

• When the full-bag indicator is completely red, the bag is full. Do not use the appliance until the bag

has been replaced.

• Use the handle to open the lid and pull the black bag holder upward.

• Remove the full dust bag from the appliance

• Place a new dust bag into the black holder. Pull the bag towards you and fasten it into the black holder.

• Close the lid, making sure you hear a click. If the dust bag is not correctly attached, there will be no click.

• NB: Unless there is a dust bag in the appliance, the lid will not close.

HEPA filter

• It is recommended that you change the Hepa filter regularly. The Hepa filter is situated behind the

black grille on the back of the vacuum cleaner near the air outlet.

Replacing

• Move the slide in the grill downward. The grille can now be opened. The Hepa filter and the microfilter

can now be removed and replaced.

Cotton dust bags

• If you use cotton dust bags instead of paper ones, they can be reused several times. Replace the bag

in the same way as the paper bag.

• You can place the bag above a pedal bin by sliding the clip sideways, shaking the bag empty and

sliding the clip back on the underside of the bag.

• If you use cotton dust bags we recommend you wash the motor filter once yearly in warm water. Make

sure it is completely dry before replacing in the appliance.

CLEANING

ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. NEVER IMMERSE THE VACUUM

CLEANER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

Clean the outside of the dust compartment with a slightly damp cloth. Do

not use abrasive or strong detergents.
