Maintenance of the grease filter

The hood contains one metal filter which should

be cleaned twice a month.

Access to the filter

Open the plate by pulling at the same time at the

right and left set. Pull the plate towards you. When

completely opened, the plate will stand on itself.

You can now access the grease filters.

The little gutter (A) must be cleaned after each

usage

Cleaning the filter:

- in the dishwasher

- manually: in a hot solution of water and a liquid

detergent. Rinse and allow to dry completely

Important! The previous instructions need to

be followed. If not an increased fire hazard may

occur.

Important! Always place the upper grease filter

with the handle downwards and the lower grease

filter wit the handle upwards.

You can close the hood by pushing the middle

part of the hinge upwards (1). Always support the

plate (2)

Maintenance of the monoblock filter

Only use the original Novy monoblock filter.

After 200 cooking hours the filter needs to be

reactivated. To do so, place the filter during one

hour in an electrical oven on 120°C. The filter

can be reactivated 12 times. The hood can be

programmed so that a signal is given when the

200 cooking hours are reached.

Programming the saturation indication

(Attention! Programming can only take place

when the hood is switched off)

• push + and – at the same time, during 5 min.

(the red led will blink 5 times)

• delay time is programmed for 30 minutes

(instead of 10 min.).

• the saturation indication is programmed (200

working hours).

After 200 working hours the red LED will blink

(time to reactivate the monoblock filter)

Maintenance of the hood

Please allow the lights to cool down sufficiently

before cleaning the hood.

Use a soft, wet cloth and a mild detergent to clean

the hood.

Never use aggressive, abrasive detergents or

sponges. Bleach will damage stainless steel.

The stainless steel surfaces can be treated with

Novy Inoxcleaner (906.060) after cleaning.
