Important!Pleas e note: In order to use all features available,a Microsoft user accou nt must be
created and it is necess aryto activate your system later on. Toreset a forgotten passw ord please visit
www.live.com.
To prevent conflicts with other syst ems we recomm end creatinga new account .
Please clos e unused apps to extend the battery life time as describe d on the right.
Turn off the tablet when not in use.
Turnin g On/ Off
To turn on the device,press and hold the Powerbutton on th e unit until you see the boot ‐up screen
then re leas e. It may takea few minutes to start up th e system, please wait before you proceed.
To turn off th e device,press and hold the Po werbutton until
you see the option “Power Off”, tap
on “Power Off” and then ta p on “OK”.
Tip:This device will sleep with the screen off if it sta ys inactive for a fe w seco nds. You can briefly
press thePower button to turn on the screen and wakeit up.
Power On and Off the Display
‐Shortly press the [Power] button to turn off th e disp lay.
‐Press the [Power] button again shortly turn the display on again.
Language Setting
‐Confirm the two req ue sts at the begin ning by tapin g at OK.
‐Tap on [Settings] and select [Langu age & Input]
‐
Select your desired language.
Getting Sta rted
1. Micro SD Card Slot
Accommodates any standardSD/ SDHC memory card.
2. Status Indicator
Stays red du ring charging and will turn orange after the battery is fully
charged.
3. Micro HDMI
Connect toa TV or other display .
4. Micro USB Supp ort for USB stick, Sur f stick, Keyboard and Mous e.
Charge and pow er the tablet with th e included power adapter.

Key To switch back to the Homescreen
13. Volume key+ / ‐ Sho rtly press to increase/ decrease volume level.
14. Power Button Press and hold the power switch to turn on or off the device ;
Briefly press the switch to turn the sc reen on or off.
Should the dev ice stop functioning or operate abnormally, press and hold
for 15 seconds to reset the device off.
15. Speaker
Charging Battery
The device hasa built ‐in rech argeable battery. No extra battery insta llation is required. Just char ge
the device when it indic ate s low battery.
To charge the battery, connect the devi ce to any standard wall outlet via the DC port using the
provided power adaptor. It takes abou t5 hours to fully
charge the battery.
Note:
a. We advice to use only th e de live re d power adapter wit h this tablet.
b. You ca n operate the device even when it is bei ng charged.But fo r extendedbattery life , it is
suggestedNOT to use th e de vice when it is charging .
c. It is recomm ende d to charge the battery before you use the de vice for the first time.
d. For maximum performance, lith ium‐ ion batteries need to be used ofte n. If you don’t use the
devi ce of ten,be sure to recharge the battery at least once per month.
e. Should the rechargeab le battery of the devic e dischar ge completely, connect the device (u sing
the adapt er)to th e main po wer sourc e for ap proxi mate ly5 ‐ 10 minu tes bef oreattempting
normaloperation.
f. In some cases, devices which have be en charged for lo nger periodsof time may not be abl e to be
switched back on. Shou ld this occur you have to ma kea Re set.
Factory reset
Should you notice un usual behavior or th e device cannot be activated , we suggest restoring the
device to the factory settings. Switc h off the device. Whi le pressing the Power Button and the
Volum e‐ Minus key simultaneously, star t the device until the Recov ery Mode is started. Follow the
instructions under “T roub leshoo t” or “Problem
Sol ving ”. Selec t „R eset you r PC ” or “R estore “
ATTENTION!All dat a and settings will be erased.
Con nectvia USB
Note:Only use a USB cable with a maximumleng th of 100cm.
Please make sure when conn ecti ng the USB adapter into the USB
socket that the connector alignment are correct. Incorrectin se rti on
may cause damageto the plug and sock et.
On one side of the plug there are usually small sizes of hooks that
secure the fixation. Pay sp ecial attention to the position of th e
hooks, they should show upwar ds when connecting the cable into
the socket while the devi ce is lying
on screen up.
In order to view or playback files, these must first be downloaded
from the internet or tra nsfe rred froma computer and stored on
the device via MircoSD card or USB‐ Stick.
ATTENTION:A directconnection between th e Device and Computer, via USB ‐Cable is not possible!
Installi ng Memory Card
- To usea memory card, find the card slot at the side
of the device and the n insert the me mory card into
the slot in the correct orientation as shown. Check
that the Micro SD card is in the corr ect position with
the contact pin facing downwards directed to the
screen as illustrated . You may damage th e card and
the reader if Micro SD card is not inserted in cor rec t
position.
- Push the MicroSD card into the card slot un til it clicks.
- To access the files stored in the memo ry card, enter
the Explorer mode by tapping th e Explorer
icon and
select the “SD Card” directory.
- To remov e Micro SD card, push the card once again
until it clicks .
Note:We recomm end using only MicroSD or SDHC cards up to 64GB capacity.
‐When a Micro SD card is inserte d in or eject ed from the device, it may take few se co nds for the
device to update the co nte nt .
‐Pleaseavoi d inse rtin g or ejecting Micro SD card when other operatio n is running as this may cause
the system hang.
‐Do Not rem ove the card if the content insid e the card is being played. This will halt the
operation of th e device and mi ght causea system hang.
‐Pleaseuse your finger nails to properly insert or remove the card.
Connec ting to the Internet
(1) Swipe with you r finger from the right‐ hand side towa rds the centre and open the function
bar like this.
(2) Touch the icon to open All settings and select„Network and Intern et“.
(3) Tap on th e network you wish to connect to and then tap on “C onnec t”. Your Tabletwill now
attempt to establ isha connection to that 3G network. If the connection is successful, the
messag e “Con nected” will appear below the network.
Note:
If there is no inte rnet c onnection pleas e recheck this setting and verify that you are con nec ted to an
avilable wifi or 3G Net wor k.
