ERROR CONDITIONS
Clearing an Error
Press to clear an error. The key tone ends, the displays clear and the keypad unlocks, allowing you to continue
with the transaction.
If an error condition cannot be cleared by pressing , reset the cash register by performing one of the cash register
reset operations.
Out-of-Paper
When the paper runs out, the message OUT OF PAPER appears on the operator display. Load the paper and press
to clear the error.
ERROR MESSAGES
The following error messages can be displayed:
Error Messages Description
OPERATION ERROR
Incorrect key entered. Press followed by to resume operation.
SALES AMOUNT EXCEEDED
OR HALO ERROR
Value entered exceeds that allowed and/or maximum value permitted by HALO
parameter.
ZERO-PRICE ENTRY ERROR Configuration does not allow zero-value prices.
FULL VOID AMOUNT
EXCEEDED
Too many sales items entered before a Full Void operation.
CLERK NOT LOGGED IN Clerk System is active so Clerk number must be entered.
NO PASSWORD ENTERED A password must be entered.
TENDER AMOUNT
MANDATORY
Entry of amount is configured as mandatory for the type of tender.
PAPER ERROR Paper roll not inserted correctly.
OUT OF PAPER Paper finished, refill.
PRINTER HEADER
TEMPERATURE BECOMES
ABNORMAL
High printer temperature registered. Wait a few minutes then press .
PRINTER CONTROL
VOLTAGE BECOMES
ABNORMAL
High printer voltage registered. Wait a few minutes then press .
SD CARD FATAL ERROR Irrecoverable error on SD Card. Replace card.
SD CARD NOT DETECTED No SD card detected in slot. Check validity of card in slot. If new, try reformatting.
SD CARD WRITE
PROTECTION
Data cannot be written onto SD card because it results as write-protected. Remove
write-protection and retry.
SD CARD MEMORY FULL SD card is full. Replace or clear contents using EJ MEMORY CLEAR option.
SD CARD FILE NOT FOUND No file found. Check SD card.
SD CARD READ/WRITE
ERROR
Cannot read from/write to SD card. If new, try reformatting.
GUEST NUMBER
MANDATORY
For Table tracking, entry of Guest number is configured as mandatory.
TABLE NUMBER
MANDATORY
For Table tracking, entry of Table number is configured as mandatory.
