Insert the digital camera in the Case.
Load the digital camera in the Case after checking the following:
• Is the digital camera turned OFF?
• Is a medium loaded in the digital camera?
• Is the battery fully charged?
• The strap, strap suspension crowns, lens cap and filter are removed from the digital camera.
• The camera table provided with the Case is attached to the tripod screw hole at the bottom of the digital
camera.
• The camera’s eyecup is removed from the camera’s viewfinder.
• The zoom gear and focus gear are attached to the camera’s lens.
1Pull out the zoom dial and mode dial on the Case (pulling out the mode dial also pulls up the power
switch lever) so that they do not get in the way while loading the digital camera.
At this time, set the orientation of the power switch lever as shown below.
2When using an electronic flash with the Case, remove the TTL cable connector cap on the hot shoe
connector, which is located in the top left corner of the inner side of the front lid. and connect the TTL
cable to the connector.
CAUTION:
When screwing in the hot shoe connector clamping screw, place the Case upside down. Be careful not to
drop the Case.

Set the orientation to 2 o’clock.
Remove the cap by turning it
counterclockwise.
