Low b attery indi cator
When th e low battery indicator ap pears on the di splay,
immedia tely replace the ba ttery with a new CR 2032
battery.
NOTES:
• Do not remove the battery arou nd 12:00AM. The
measuremen t results o f the day when the bat tery was
remove d will be adde d to the me asurement results for the
day th e batt ery was inse rted.
(It is assumed th at the ba ttery w ill be remo ved and
replace d with a new one on th e same day .)
• The measu rem ent re sults are a utoma tica lly sto red in
memo ry on t he hour (e.g. at 12:00 AM, 1 :00AM,
2:00A M, ... 9:00PM, 10:00PM , 11:00PM).
The measu rement resul ts from t he hour unt il the ti me the
battery is r eplaced will be delet ed for that day .
• Wh en the batt ery is remove d, the ti me will be reset to
“12:0 0AM”. Re set th e time after i nserti ng the new
battery . Refer to “SETTINGS”.
(Th e mea surem ent re sults stor ed in memo ry and the
weight, height and st ride l ength se ttings are n ot dele ted.)
1. To unlock the bat tery cover mo ve the lock to the
left. Th en pull the cover off by pull ing it awa y from
the unit.
2. Remove the b attery with a toothpick.
NOTE:
Do not use any type of metal objec t to remove the
batt ery.
CAUTION
Dispose of the device, batte ry, and compone nts
according to ap plicable local reg ulations. Unlawf ul
disposa l may cause envi ronment al pollu tion.
CAUTION
Do not thr ow the ba ttery int o fire. T he batte ry may
explode.
3. Insert the battery (CR2032) with the positive (+)
side face up.
4. Replace the batter y cover by sliding the catch in
first, t hen press down on the ba ttery cover firmly
so it is clo ses. Once t his is comple te, slide th e lock
to the rig ht.
Follow th e procedur e belo w to de lete all the pre vious
measure ment result s and setti ngs, including th e time,
weight, height , and stride leng th.
1. Press and hold an d at the s ame time.
“lb” or “kg” flas hes on t he display .
2. Press a nd hold and at the same time again.
After “Clr” h as been di splayed, “ lb” and “ kg” flash on
the displa y.
The meas urem ent res ults store d in mem ory an d the
settings for the time, weight, height and stride length
are deleted. To conti nue usin g the unit, reset time,
weight, heigh t, and stride length ( refer to
“SETTINGS”).
To keep the unit in the best conditio n and protect the unit
from damage follow the direc tions liste d below:

Do not subje ct the unit to strong s hock, drop, or step on
it.
Replace a worn battery with a new one immediately.
Remove the batt ery if the unit will not be used for three
months or longer .
Use of the unit must be consis tent with th e instructi ons
provid ed in this manual.

If a malfunctio n has occurred and you need to repair your
unit, all sett ings and m easurem ent resu lts are de leted. We
recomm end that you record mea surement resul ts.
