Playing an A udio fr om Bluetooth enabled Device
Y ou can enjo y music files on Bluetooth-enabled de vices such as smar t phones or digital music pla yers wirelessly . (Bluetooth-
enabled de vices must support A2DP protocol)

When you pla y music files on y our Bluetooth-enabled de vice , you need to estab lish paring only for the first time .

Put the A V receiver to pairing mode
When you press BLUET OO TH on the front panel of the A V receiv er , Bluetooth indicator flashes and the A V receiver is
put to pairing mode.
•
When establishing pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled de vice , press and hold down BLUET OO TH on the A V receiver until
the Bluetooth indicator flashes.
The A V receiver can sav e up to ten pairing information.

Connecting to Bluetooth-enabled device
Connect the A V receiver to the Bluetooth-enabled de vice from a close distance (appro x. 1 m) while the indicator on the
A V receiver is flashing.
When a model name of the A V receiver is displa yed on the screen of Bluetooth-enab led de vice, select it. After a shor t
while, pairing will be completed.

When asked f or a pass word on the Bluetooth-enab led de vice, enter “0000”.

If you connect the A V receiver to y our Bluetooth-enabled de vice with the A V receiver ON, input selector on the A V receiver is
automatically s witched to Bluetooth position. Pla y bac k the music files in this Bluetooth position status .

It may tak e 20 seconds or more from turning the A V receiv er ON to completing the connection because of the start of
Bluetooth function.
•
Audio is not output from the A V receiver if audio v olume on the Bluetooth-enab led device is set small.

4. P erf orming Wireless LAN Setup
Y ou can enjo y listening to Inter net radio or files on a ser ver (DLNA) through Wi-Fi (Wireless LAN) networ k. Y ou need to perf orm
the wireless LAN setup to connect the A V receiver to a wireless de vice such as a wireless router .

There are two types of setting, “A utomatic” and “Manual”. If your wireless LAN router has a “WPS
button” (*), automatic setup is a v ailable . If not, make the setting manually . If the router does not
suppor t WPS, tak e a note of

SSID and

P ass word (secret k ey) on the label of the router .
Manual setting is a vailab le regardless of the “WPS button” on the router.

The “WPS b utton” is a standard of Wi-Fi Alliance . The name of the button may diff er depending on
the router maker .

Setup using Initial Setup
Initial Setup function is launched upon first-time use. T o perf orm Initial Setup, mo v e your cursor and clic k on “Wireless ” in “Netw ork
Connection”, press ENTER, select “ Y es” on the ne xt screen, and press ENTER . (*2)

Setup not using Initial Setup
This is a setting using Setup Menu (Home Menu). Display “Wireless setup ” men u by perf orming the follo wing procedure which contains
five steps .
1. Press Receiver f ollowed b y Home on the remote controller .
2. Select “Setup ” on the screen, and press ENTER .
3. Select “Hard ware Setup”, and press ENTER.
4. Select “Network (*1)”, and press ENTER .
5. Select “Network Connection ”, mo ve y our cursor and click on “Wireless ”, and press ENTER . (*2)
(*1) When “Netw ork” is gra y ed out, please wait until it becomes operab le after the communication is completed.
(*2) The reaction ma y be slo w . Please wait for a short while.

Select “Push Button Configuration (Select fr om Router)” , and press ENTER f or e xcluding Nor th American models.

Select “Sear ch Wireless Network”, and press ENTER.

Select “Push Button ” (*) and press
ENTER. Press “WPS b utton” on the
wireless LAN router , select “OK ” on the TV
screen, and press ENTER .
(*) If you select “PIN Code ”, PIN code setting is
av ailable. Use this setting in case WPS button is in
the hard location to press, etc. In PIN code setting,
register the display ed eight-digit PIN code with
the wireless LAN router . F or registration, see the
instruction manual provided with the wireless
LAN router .
Select SSID of your wireless LAN router
from the list of SSID display ed on the
screen, and press ENTER . Either of the
follo wing options is automatically displa yed
in conjunction with the wireless
router setting.
WEP method
1. Select “Default key ID ”, and press
ENTER.
2. Select “1 ” on the ne xt screen. (If y ou
change WEP ke y on the router side,
select that number .)
3. Select “P assw ord” on the ne xt screen,
and press ENTER .
4. Enter the Pass word (*) b y using a ke y
board display ed on the screen, select
“OK ”, and press ENTER .
5. Select “OK ” on the ne xt screen, and
press ENTER .

WP A/WP A2 method
1. Select “P assw ord”, and press ENTER.

No encryption
Y ou do not need to set the def ault k ey ID
nor P assw ord. Select “OK ” on the screen,
and press ENTER . Select “OK ” on the ne xt
screen again, and press ENTER .

Connection
Connection is star ted, and Wi-Fi indicator flashes on the left of the A V receiv er displa y . When connected successfully , Wi-Fi indicator lights .
If the indicator does not light, the connection was not made successfully . Mak e settings abov e again. T ry the manual setting if the automatic
setting does not work.

Enjoying Internet radio
Press HOME on the remote controller , select “Network Service ” on the ne xt screen. Y ou can enjoy various types of Internet functions. F or
fur ther information, see “Pla ybac k” in the Instruction Manual.
