Cordless Telephone
with the Handset
Auto Talk
The auto talk feature allows you to answer a call by lifting the handset off the base unit without
pressing . The factory preset is OFF. In order to view Caller ID information before answering a
call, leave the auto talk feature OFF.
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 15), and the unit is in the standby mode.
1 Press .
2 Press or until the arrow points
to “Setting Handset”, then press
.
3 Press or until the arrow points
to “Other Option”, then press .
4 Press or until the arrow points
to “Auto Talk”, then press .
•The current setting is at the arrow.

•A beep sounds.
•The display will return to “Auto Talk”.
To return to the standby mode, press
or wait for 60 seconds.
•You can exit the programming mode any time
by pressing .
To store a redial number into
the phonebook
1 Press .
•The last number dialled is displayed.
2 Press or until the arrow points
to the phone number you desire to store,
then press .

Information into Phonebook (p. 31).

•A beep sounds and “Saved” is displayed.
Storing a Dialled Number into the Handset Phonebook
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 15), and the unit is in the standby mode.
To store an entered number
into the phonebook
1 Enter a phone number.
•The entered number is displayed.
•If you misdial, press . Digits are
erased from the right.
•To cancel, press and hold or press
.
2 Press .
3 Follow steps 4 to 7 on Storing Caller List
Information into Phonebook (p. 31).
