Problem
The information of the Caller List is
erased.
does not function.
The paged handset does not answer.
While conversation, two tones sound.
The unit misdials when connected to a
PBX.
You cannot register the handset in the
base unit.
All indicators light and never goes out.
The battery strength is not displayed
correctly.
“ ” flashes or the unit beeps every
15 seconds.
You charged the batteries fully, but
“ ” flashes.
Cause and Remedy
•
When disconnecting the AC adaptor from the base
unit, all entries of the Caller List will be erased.
•
The handset is too far from the base unit.
•
The handset is engaged in an outside call or is
viewing the Caller List or phonebook.
•
The handset is not in the same radio area.
•
The handset is engaged in an outside call.
•
The handset has been canceled or has not been
registered. Register the handset in the base unit
(p. 19).
•
A call is being received. Press to answer.
•
Please confirm the Automatic Access Code Insertion
feature if you set.
•
The base unit has registered a maximum of 8
handsets or the handset has registered a maximum
of 4 base units.
•
A wrong base unit PIN was entered. Enter the correct
PIN .
•
There is interference from other electrical units.
Locate the handset and base unit away from them.
•
You must finish registration within 1 minute after the
ringer tone sounds, or programming will be canceled
(p. 19).
•
Please consult your nearest Panasonic Service
Center.
•
Make sure the Panasonic P-6P or BYD
PQHB120AA12 is installed (p. 109).
•
Charge the batteries fully (p. 12).
•
Clean the charge contacts and charge again (p. 12).
•
Install new batteries (p. 109, 110).
