Transferring calls, conference
calls
Available for:
KX-TGE722/KX-TGE723
Outside calls can be transferred or a
conference call with an outside party can be
made between handsets in the same radio cell.
1During an outside call, press MMENUN.
2MbN: “Intercom” a MOKN
3MbN: Select the desired unit. a MOKN
4Wait for the paged party to answer.
RIf the paged party does not answer,
press MBACKN to return to the outside
call.
5To complete the transfer:
Press MN.
To establish a conference call:
MMENUN a MbN: “Conference” a
MOKN
RTo leave the conference, press MN.
The other 2 parties can continue the
conversation.
RTo put the outside call on hold:
MMENUN a MbN: “Hold” a MOKN
To resume the conference: MMENUN
a MbN: “Conference” a MOKN
RTo cancel the conference: MMENUN a
MbN: “Stop Conference” a MOKN
You can continue the conversation
with the outside caller.
Handset locator
You can locate a misplaced handset by
paging it.
1Base unit: Press MN.
RAll registered handsets beep for 1
minute.
2To stop paging:
Base unit: Press MN.
Handset: Press M N.
Using the Smart Function Key
You can also stop paging by pressing MN.
Mobile locator
This feature allows you to locate a misplaced
mobile phone by pressing the MN button on
the base unit and calling your mobile phone.
You must assign your mobile phone’s phone
number to the button beforehand. Only 1
mobile phone number (24 digits max.) can be
assigned.

RIf you have already stored a mobile
phone number, the current number is
displayed.

Erasing the number

2Press and hold MCLEARN until all digits
are erased. a MOKN a MN
Calling the misplaced mobile
phone
Base unit: MN
RTo stop calling, press MN again.
Important:
RWhile the base unit is calling the mobile
phone, the outside line is used.
Even if the mobile phone answers, you
cannot talk with the mobile phone and the
base unit beeps for 1 minute. To end the
call, press MN on the base unit.
