Phonebook name announcement
When caller information is received and it
matches a phone number stored in the
phonebook, the stored name in the
phonebook is announced.
Caller list
Important:
R Make sure the unit’s date and time setting
is correct (page 15).

n Using a mobile line
Handset
1 MCN CID
2 Press MCN to search from the most recent
call, or MDN to search from the oldest call.
3 To call back, press MSELECTN.
To exit, press MOFFN.
4 MMOBILEN
R The unit starts dialling when:
– only 1 mobile phone is paired.
– a specific line is set to make mobile
calls (page 19).
5 MbN: Select the desired mobile phone. a
MSELECTN
Base unit
1 MCIDN
2 Press MCN to search from the most recent
call, or MDN to search from the oldest call.
3 To call back, press MMOBILE 1N or
MMOBILE 2N.
To exit, press MEXITN.
n Using a landline
Handset / Base unit
1 Proceed with the operation for your unit.
Handset: MCN CID
Base unit: MCIDN
2 Press MCN to search from the most recent
call, or MDN to search from the oldest call.
3 Proceed with the operation for your unit.
Handset:
– To call back, press M
N.
– To exit, press MOFFN.
Base unit:
– To call back, press MZN.
– To exit, press MEXITN.
Note for handset and base unit:
R If the entry has already been viewed or
answered, “
” is displayed.

or indicates the caller information
was received from the mobile line.
R If you do not want to dial the area code
when making calls from the caller list, you
can store the area code which you want the
unit to delete automatically (page 54).
Storing an area code to be
deleted automatically (for
landline call)
In some situations, phone numbers stored
automatically in the caller list (page 54) will
include area codes. If you do not want to dial
the area code when making landline calls from
the caller list, you can store the area code
which you want the unit to delete automatically.
Example: You have stored the area code
“09”. If you make a landline call from the caller
list to the phone number “09-456-7890”, the
unit dials “456-7890”.

Note:
R The use of this feature can prevent a
National Call from being dialled. E.g., in the
case of the South Island, the “03” will be
omitted and will therefore prevent a
National Call to other areas of the South
Island.
