product, without charge f or parts or labour , if in the opinion of Panasonic the product is f ound to hav e a manufacturing
defect within one (1) year or (12 months) (the “warranty period”) from the date of purchase appearing on your purchase
receipt.
2. This warranty only applies to P anasonic product s purchased in Australia and s old by Panasonic Aus tralia, it’ s Authorised
Distributors, or Dealer s, and only where t he products ar e used and service d within Austr alia or its territ ories. W arranty
cover only a pplies to th e ser vices that a re carried ou t by a Panasonic Authorised Service Centre and only if valid pr oof of
purchase is pre sented when t he warranty se rvice is request ed.
3. This warranty only applies if the pr oduct has been installed and/or used in ac cordance with the manuf acturer’s
recommendations (as not ed in the oper ating instructions) under normal use and r easonable car e (in the opinion of
Panasonic). The warr anty does not cove r damage, malfunction or failure res ulting from use of incorrect voltag es, incorr ect
installation, accident, misuse, neglect, build-up of dirt or dust, abuse, maladjus tment of cust omer controls, mains supply
problems, thunderst orm activity , infestation by insects or vermin, tampering or rep air by unauthorised pers ons (including
unauthorised alter ations), exposure to abnormally corrosive c onditions, or any for eign object or matter having entere d the

4. This warranty does not cove r the following items unle ss the f ault or defect e xisted at the time of purcha se:

5. Some products may be s upplied with Ethernet connection har dware. The warr anty is limited on such products and will not
cover:
(a) Internet and or DLNA connection / setup relate d problems
(b) Access f ees and or char ges incurre d for in ternet connection
(c) Incompatible software or softwar e not specifically stipulate d in the product operations manual; and
(d) Any indirect or c onsequential costs associate d with the incorrect us e or misuse of the hardwar e, its connection to the
internet or an y other device.
6. T o claim warr anty service, when r equired, y ou should:

≥ C onfirm the opening and accept ance times with the Authorised Service c entre that y ou choose.

≥ An y freight and insurance cost s associate d with the tr ansport of the product to a nd/or from y our neares t Authorised
Service Centre must be arranged and paid for by y ou.
7. The warrantie s hereby conf erred do not extend to , and ex clude, any cos ts associat ed with the installat ion, de-installation or
re-installation of a product, including cost s relate d to the mounting, de-mounting or re mounting of any scr een, (and any
other ancillary activities), delivery , handling , freighting, tr ansportation or insurance of the pr oduct or any part thereof or

≥ The unit is in the standby condition when the AC adaptor is connected. The primary circuit is
always “live” as long as the AC adaptor is connected to an electrical outlet.

Preparing the antenna
T ape the an tenna to a wall or column i n a positio n with the least amount of int erference.
Unit on/standby
Press [Í /I] to turn on th e unit.
≥ The unit will enter FM mode. (The current FM frequency is displayed.)
If there is no operation for about 10 seconds, the display will show the time.
≥ Press [ Í/I] again to switch the unit to standby mode.
≥ The unit is not turned off completely even in the standby condition. In the interest of energy
conservation, if you will not be using the unit for an extended period of time, we recommend
disconnecting the mains plug from the mains socket or removing the batteries. Th e unit
consumes a small amount of power even in the standby condition. (l “Specifications”)
≥ In standby mode, the time is displayed.
Listening to FM ra dio
Y ou can preset up to 10 FM channels.
Prep aration
≥ Turn the unit on.
Press and hold [j AUTO PRESET] for at least 2 second s.
≥ Auto preset begins with the lowest frequency .
≥ The tuner starts to preset all the stations it can receive into the channels in ascending order .
≥ T o cancel, press [TUNE / SELECT X , W ].

≥ The station occupying a channel is erased if another station is preset in that channel.
