- at our choice - by us free of charge. This
warranty is conditional on the defective de-
vice and the receipt of purchase being pre-
sented within the 3 year warranty period, and
that there is a brief written description of the
nature of the defect and of the date it arose.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, we
will return the repaired equipment or repla-
cement thereof. A repair or exchange of the
equipment does not extend a new warranty
period.
Scope of warranty
The appliance has been manufactured to st
rict
quality guidelines and meticulously examined
before delivery.
The warranty applies to faults in material or
manufacture. This guarantee does not apply
to product parts which are subject to normal
wear and tear and can be regarded as wea-
ring parts, or for damage to breakable parts,
e.g., switch, rechargeable batteries, or parts
which are made of glass.
This warranty becomes void if the device has
been damaged or improperly used or main-
tained. All instructions provided in the ope-
rating instructions must be followed strictly to
constitute proper use of the product. Uses and
actions contrary to those set out in the opera-
ting instructions, and which are ill-advised or
warned against, must be avoided at all cost.
This product is intended for private, non-com-
mercial use only. Any incorrect or improper
use of the device, use of force and changes
not performed by our authorized service
branch will void the warranty.
Procedure in the case of
warranty
Please follow the instructions below to ensure
quick processing of your claim:
Please retain proof of purchase and the arti-
cle number (e.g., IAN). The product number
can be found on the type plate, an engraving,
the cover page of your instructions (bottom
left) or the decal at the back or bottom. In
the event of malfunctions or other defects
please first contact the service department
below by phone or e-mail. A product recor-
ded as defective, along with the proof of
purchase (sales receipt) and a description
of the defect and when it occurred, can
then be returned free of charge to you to
the service address provided.

Connecting the
compressed air source
Warning: Never exceed the maximum
permitted operating pressure of 6.2 bar.
Warning: In order to regulate the pres-
sure, the compressed air source must be fit-
ted with a pressure regulator.
Connect the unit to a suitablecompres-
sed air source. Now connect the supply
pipe using the quick-release connector to
the coupling plug on the pneumatic tyre
inflator.

Press the lever down on the valve plug
and pull off the valve cap from the valve.
Disconnect the unit from the compres-
sed air source after finishing the work.
Warning: First of all, disconnect the tube
from the compressor and when you have
done this, disconnect the supply pipe from
the unit. Following these instructions will
stop the supply pipe from twirling around
all over the place.
Changing the batteries
Remove the battery compartment lid

DANGER OF IN-
JURY! The device requires no maintenance.
Do not use corrosive or aggressive cle-
aning agents. Do not allow any liquids
to enter the device. Otherwise the de-
vice could be damaged.
Clean the casing with a dry cloth.

Only allow your unit to be maintained and
serviced by qualified service personnel. This
will maintain the safety features of your unit.

air devices to eliminate the risk of fire, electric
shock and personal injury. Be sure to read
and follow the notices within these opera-
ting instructions prior to using the equipment
and store them in a safe location. The ma-
nufacturer assumes no liability for damages
or personal injury resulting from failure to
follow these operating instructions.
Children or persons who lack the know-
ledge or experience to use the device or
whose physical, sensory or intellectual
capacities are limited must never be
allowed to use the device without su-
pervision or instruction by a person re-
sponsible for their safety. Please ensure
that children cannot play with this unit.
Check the unit after
filling with compressed air using a te-
sted pressure gauge.
EXPLO-
SION HAZARD! Use this
device in well-ventilated areas
only. Never use petrol or other flamma-
ble liquids to clean the air tool! Sparks
could ignite residual vapours inside the
compressed air equipment resulting in the
compressed air equipment exploding.
RECOIL! When used
under high pressure conditions, recoil
can occur which can cause danger due
to constant pressurisation.
RISK OF INJURY!
Never point the air jet towards yourself
or other people, animals, or electrical
equipment.
During maintenance, switch off the
compressed air supply.
Never exceed the maximum permitted
operating pressure of 6.2 bar. Use a
pressure reducer to adjust the operating
pressure.
Switch the device off if you do not use it
anymore.
First of all, disconnect the tube from the
compressed air source and when you
have done this, disconnect the supply
pipe from the unit. Following these in-
structions will stop the supply pipe from
twirling around all over the place.
For your own protection, please wear
suitable protective clothing.
Keep children and other persons away
from the equipment during use.
Do not use the equipment when tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medications. One moment of careles

when using the equipment may result in
serious injuries. Distractions can cause
you to lose control of the device.
Before any repair and maintenance
work or transport, remove the device
from the compressed air source.
Before using the unit, check it for da
mage,
and especially for light damage or da-
mage to the protective systems. These
must be thoroughly checked to confirm
that they are indeed completely capa-
ble of performing their intended tasks.
All unit parts must be correctly assembled
and comply with all guidelines in order
to ensure correct and safe operation.
If you ascertain that the unit is indeed
damaged, you are not permitted to use
it. Do not bend the unit’s pipe. This could
cause damage.
Warning! Please observe all manu-
facturer’s instructions regarding inflatable
articles.
Never remove model numbers. They
are safety-relevant parts of the unit. If
you have no experience of working with
this unit, please undertake a training
course to acquaint you with the dan-
gers of embarking on such a venture.

Intended use
With suitable accessories the pneumatic
tyre inflator can be used to pump up and
regulate the air pressure in bicycle tyres, in-
flatable dinghies, air beds, balls, etc. This
article is not to be used contrary to the stip-
ulated conditions of intended use detailed
in the instruction leaflet. The manufacturer
accepts no responsibility for damage or in-
jury resulting from non-observance of the in-
structions or from any form of misuse. This
device has been designed for household
use and may not be used for commercial or
