ATTENTION
• To check the oil level, do not screw in the oil tank cover
with oil dipstick (43), but only insert it up to the thread.

The automatic oil switch-off activates if there is too little engine
oil and switches the engine off. If this happens, the engine can-

chapters 10.1 and 14.2.1 before each use).

Clean the air filter (9) regularly, replace if necessary.
• Remove the air filter cover (9). Pull carefully on the edges of
the air filter (9).
• Remove the contaminated filter element.
• Knock out the contaminated filter element or blow it out with
compressed air at low pressure.
• Replace the filter element and the air filter cover (9).
14.2.4 Spark plug
Check the spark plug/spark plug connector (24) for the first
time after 20 operating hours for contamination and clean if
necessary with a wire brush. Afterwards, service the spark plug
after every 50 hours of operation.
• Remove the spark plug connector (24) from the spark plug
by turning it.
• Remove the spark plug with the supplied spark plug span-
ner (36).
• Assembly is done in the reverse order.
14.2.5 Preparation for storage

Petrol must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner!
• Empty the fuel tank (15) with a fuel suction pump (not in-

ml oil in the cylinder. Pull the pull starter (26) slowly so that
the oil coats the inside of the cylinder. Screw the spark plug
back in.
• Store the appliance in a well-ventilated location.
14.2.6 Preparation for transport
