Quick guide
Charging the Tablet
Please charge your Tablet fully before using it for the
irst time.
Connect the DC plug on the supplied power adapter to the
charging socket (DC IN) on the Tablet.
Then plug the power adapter into a socket.
The charging LED lights up while the device is charging.
Only leave the power adapter connected to the socket
until the battery of the Tablet is fully charged. In addition,
always disconnect the power adapter from the Tablet
when you are not charging the Tablet.
Ensure that you only use a power supply unit that
corresponds to the technical data stated on the Tablet.
Using power supply units e.g. with a higher voltage causes
irreversible damage to your device, which is not covered by
the warranty.
Turning on the Tablet for the irst time
a Optional: Dock the keyboard on the tablet so that the
screen faces the keyboard. If necessary, unfold the tablet
stand so that the screen is at least 90° to the keyboard.
There is a magnetic lock in the keyboard docking area of
the keyboard as well as on the lower edge of the tablet.
Keep things that are sensitive to magnetic ields away
from it.
b Press the on/off switch for about 3 seconds to switch
on the Tablet. The setup assistant will then appear
on the screen.
c Follow the setup assistant instructions to set up your Tablet.
During the startup, the wizard prompts you to register for
your Microsoft account. If you do not yet have a Microsoft
account, please set one up here.
After completion of the startup, your Tablet is conigured.
This may take several minutes to complete. Do not turn
the Tablet off during this time!
Unlocking the display
As soon as the device has been set up (and every time it is
subsequently switched on and booted up), the lock screen
appears. Press any key on the keyboard or swipe up the
screen to unlock it.
If your Tablet is password-protected, you must then
enter the password.
Alternatively, you can also log into your Tablet via Windows
Hello. To activate and set up this feature, select "Settings"
"Navigation" (three horizontal lines) "Accounts"
"Sign-in options" "Windows Hello".

tom of the display or press the Windows button on the key-
board. Press the icon a second time to hide the Start menu.

applications and recently used iles in
the lower area.
In the upper list you will ind, among
other things, the link to open the settings
(cogwheel symbol). In the app area,
you can "pin" and organise apps and
favourites in the form of icons.
You will find a list of all installed apps in alphabetical
order under "All Apps". An alphabetic quick access to the
navigation list appears when you click on a respective first
letter.

of the Tablet.

nearby and then displays them as a list ("Show available
networks").

Tablet is reset.

the Tablet's battery is fully charged. In addition, always
disconnect the power adapter from the Tablet when you are
not charging the Tablet.
Reduce the display brightness under "System" "Display"
in the settings.
Activate standby mode or turn off the Tablet completely
if you are not using the Tablet.
Using the pen
The pen included in the package contents of delivery is an
active pen.
Insert battery
Unscrew the cap and insert the battery (1.5V, AAAA, LR61)
with the positive pole in the direction of the pen tip.
As soon as the battery is inserted and the battery cap
is screwed back on, the pen can be used.
Pen tip
You can use the pen in any app that supports ink (such as
drawing apps, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and many others).
Use the pressure-sensitive tip to write and draw on
the screen. Touch the display with the pen tip. The display
automatically recognizes the pen.
It is activated as soon as you touch the display and shows
a small point. If you put light pressure on the tip, you can
now operate the tablet with the pen. Depending on the
app, the stronger the pressure on the tip, the greater the
thickness of the pen.
Depending on the app, the functions of the pen can be
different.
Function keys of the pen
The function keys enables access to context menus
in the apps that support Microsoft Inking.
If Microsoft Inking is not supported, the function keys
may have other possible uses.
