Positioning
A hob should preferably not be positioned
immediately above a refrigerator or freezer
built-in below the worktop. If the hob has to
be fitted above a refrigerator or freezer,
ensure that the hob is well insulated.
■ Saw out an opening in the worktop with the
dimensions shown in the illustration 8.
Stick the strips of sealant to the underside
of the hob, then place it in the opening. Fix
the hob in the worktop by tightening the 4
clamps (see Fig. 9).
Disposal of packaging and
appliances
The packaging of the appliance is recyclable.
It is made up off:
– cardboard
– polyethylene
– CFC free polystyrene (PS rigid foam)
– polypropylene straps around the box
Please dispose of these materials in a
responsible way in accordance with the
regulations of your local authority.
Your local authority will also be able to give
you information about disposing disused
household appliances in a responsible way.
