One more thing...
If you wish to check how cooking is
proceeding:
■ Open the door.
The indication on the display will begin to
flash.
■ To continue cooking close the door and
press the start button.
■ If you wish to stop cooking remove the dish
from the oven, and return all dials to their
original settings.
Manual functions
The manual functions allow you to use the
oven as an ordinary oven (without
microwave). When you select the manual
functions, the microwave is switched off and
the oven starts automatically. Also, when you
select a manual function, the timer can only
be used as an egg-timer; in that case, the
oven does not switch off at the end of the pre-
set time. To switch off the oven, turn the
multifunction knob to the off setting.
Attention:
When a manual function is selected, it is also
possible to use the grill, turbo grill and hot air
circulation with the door open.
Always keep children away from the oven
when it is switched on with the door open.
Preheating
Ensure that the oven is empty when
preheating the oven. Only preheat the oven if
cooking times are shorter than 20 minutes and
if the combi-functions are to be used.
■ Turn the function selection dial to the
required function.
■ Turn the temperature selection dial to the
required temperature.
■ Press the start button to start the oven. The
temperature indicator light will light up.
Once the oven has reached the set
temperature the temperature indicator light
will go out.
Interrupting the cooking with timer knob
functions
During use, the door can be opened to check,
stir or turn the dish. If you open the door, bear
in mind the following points:
If you wish to continue cooking:
■ Close the door and press the start button
again.
If you do not wish to continue cooking:
■ Take the food out of the oven and turn all
the knobs to the off setting. Close the door.
Interrupting the cooking with manual
functions
Open the door during use:
■ The oven carries on working normally.
Opening the door does not interrupt the
cooking process.
■ Turn the microwave oven power knob to
the off setting.
