WAN Medium Typ
On this page, you can choose between two wireless network modes:
- Wired WAN - in this mode, the network cable is connected directly to the WAN port. Wired
WAN is the default.
- Wireless WAN -In this mode router acts as the wireless network access point (AP), which
amplifies and relays to the wireless stations wireless signal received from ISP. Connection
with the Internet is accomplished via ISP's wireless (Wi-Fi) network. Local network computers
connects to router via wireless Wi-Fi network.
SSID - SSID (Service Set Identifier) is a unique wireless network name. Enter the SSID used by
the access point wireless service provider with which the router will connect. If the network
does not broadcast the SSID, you must manually enter all the parameters.
Channel - specify the effective channel (from 1 to 13) of the wireless network. The channel you
select must be the same with that of the AP provided by your ISP.
