A permanently lit warning light or one fl ashing, with the engine running, indicates an operating fault of the unit con-
cerned. The illumination of certain warning lights may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the
multifunction display. Do not ignore this warning: consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
If the central STOP warning light comes on when you are driving, stop your vehicle immediately, where it is safe to
do so.
Central STOP
warning light
This comes on for a few
seconds each time the ig-
nition is switched on.
Linked to the warning lights:
- "engine oil pressure and
temperature",
- "punctured wheel",
- "maximum coolant
temperature",
- "handbrake", "low brake fl uid
level", and "electronic brake

You must stop if the light comes
on with the engine running.

Engine oil pressure
and temperature
warning light
This comes on for a few seconds each
time the ignition is switched on.
Linked to the central STOP warning
light.
If this warning light comes on, with
the engine running, it indicates one
of the following:
- insuffi cient oil pressure,
- a lack of oil in the lubrication
circuit. Top up the level,
- an oil temperature which is too
high. The warning light is accom-
panied by an audible signal. To
lower the oil temperature, reduce
your speed.
You must stop.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Service warning light
This comes on for a few sec-
onds each time the ignition is
switched on.
If this warning light comes on, with the en-
gine running, accompanied by an audible
signal and a message on the multifunc-
tion display, it indicates the occurrence of
a problem in one of the systems which
does not have a specifi c warning light.
Consult the message on the multi-
function display to identify the system
concerned.
Check:
- the remote control battery,
- the pressure of the tyres,
- the engine oil level,
- the screenwash level,
- the condition of the bulbs.
For all other cases, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
The lighting of this warning light may
also indicate the start of saturation of
the particle emission fi lter (Diesel),
due to exceptionally prolonged urban
driving conditions: low speed, long
traffi c jams, ...
In order to regenerate the fi lter, you
are advised to drive, as soon as traf-
fi c conditions permit, at a speed of
35 mph (60 km/h) or more for at least
fi ve minutes (until the warning light
switches off).
If the warning light remains on, contact
a PEUGEOT dealer.
