If no station is broadcasting on this channel

there is no sound.

The

programme number in the window

indicates

that the TV is switched on. If the

sound does come on after a few seconds and

it is too loud keep the minus

until

the sound is at

the level you require.

Tuning

You

can receive stations on three TV bands

with your set.

Each

TV band can be recognised by a

coloured bar which is only visible on your TV

screen

when you are searching for stations.

These

are as follows;

Red

VHF

Green

= VHF m

Yellow

= UHF.

Whenever

the coloured bar

reaches

the

righthand side of the TV

screen,

the TV

switches

to the following bands which can be

recognised

by a different colour bar which

starts

moving from the lefthand side of the TV

screen.

Searching

for and storing stations

Press

The

programme number now

flashes

in the

window and the coloured bar appears on the

screen.

You

should proceed as follows:

window and the coloured bar moves towards

the

right

until

the first subsequent station is

reached.

The

picture is then finely tuned automatically*.

Once

this has happened, the programme

number returns to the window.

If the picture obtained is bad or it is not the

required station,

If the picture obtained on the required station

good, proceed as follows:

the plus

button

(for increasing

programme numbers) or the minus

(for

reducing programme numbers) of Pr

(programme) buttons

until

the required

programme number flashes in the window.

programme number stops flashing to

show

that the station has been stored on that

number in the memory of your set.

The

coloured bar also disappears from the

screen.

Repeat

the process described in 1 to 4 to

store further stations.
