Important
• Before connecting the appliance check that the
voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to
the mains voltage in your home.
• Do not use this product near water e.g. in baths, washbasins,
sinks.
If ever the product has fallen into water: first unplug
immediately. Then, dispose of the product. It must not be used
again.
• Always ensure that the attachments are completely dry (also
on the inside!) before affixing them to the styler.
• Always switch the appliance off before putting it down, even if
it is only for a moment.
• Even when the appliance is switched off, the power is still on.
Always pull out the mains plug when not in use.
• Never obstruct the air inlet grille.
• This product is equipped with an automatic overheating
protection device. If the appliance overheats, it will switch off.
Unplug the appliance. After cooling down for a few minutes,
the appliance can be used again. Before reusing, check the air
inlet grille for possible blockage by fluff, hair, etc. If in doubt,
consult your dealer or a Philips Authorised Service Dealer.
• If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be
replaced by Philips or their service representative, as special
tools and/or parts are required.
• For examination or repairs always return the appliance to a
Philips Authorised Service Dealer. Unqualified repair work can
be dangerous for the user.
• Allow the appliance to cool down before storing.
