4 Using the appliance
Befor e rst use
Before you use the appliance f or the r st time, thoroughly clean the par ts that come into
contact with food.

Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth.

Clean the beater s and kneading hooks in warm water with some washing-up liquid or
in a dishwasher .
Strip beaters/kneading hooks (g.2)

Select an appropriate speed, from 1 to 5, to switch on the strip beater s or kneading
hooks. T o avoid splashing, star t mixing at a low speed, and then switch to a higher speed.

After use, turn the speed selector to 0 (off position), and then unplug the appliance .

Press the Eject button to release the wire/strip beater s or kneading hooks.
5 Recipe
T oscana Bread
Ingredients:
• 1000g All-purpose our
• 500 ml water
• 100 ml oil
• 1.5 teaspoon salt
• 1.5 teaspoon sugar
• 11 g yeast
• 1.5 teaspoon of dr y rosemar y
• 100 g green or black olives
Directions:

Put our , water , oil, salt, sugar and yeast in a bowl.

Mix the ingredients for three minutes using the maxim um speed.

Put the dough into the refriger ator for one hour .

Cut the olives into small pieces.
5
T ake the dough out from the refr igerator .
6
Select the maximum speed to mix the dough for 10 seconds.

Bake the bread in a baking tin at 180C for about 30 min utes

• This recipe is extremely hea vy for your mix er . Let your mixer cool do wn for two hours
after preparing this recipe .
