service

The innovative Philips SpeechScribe transcription

service does the typing for you. All you have to do is

speak, SpeechScribe does the rest. In addition, you

can assign priorities to receive important dictations

faster. SpeechScribe also supports dictations with

multiple speakers (interviews, telephone conversations,

meetings, etc.). As soon as a dictation is transcribed,

the transcription is sent to you by email or via the

SpeechExec software (see also chapter Notication

of nished documents, page 9). Alternatively, you can

download the document using the SpeechLive Portal at

www.speechlive.com.

The following table provides an overview of the available

languages, delivery times, maximum le length and

number of speakers:

*) The length of the dictation sent to SpeechScribe is

rounded to the next full minute.

**) Priority dictations that exceed 25 minutes are

automatically changed to dictations without priority.

Users are notied via email.

Activating SpeechScribe

Activate SpeechScribe by selecting the required

transcription language in SpeechLive Administration and

recharging your transcription service credit.

Note

• SpeechScribe currently supports only one language

per SpeechLive account. You cannot change the

selected language at a later date.

• Should you require multiple languages, create a

second SpeechLive account and select the desired

language.

Open your browser and enter the following URL:

www.speechlive.com

Click Login and enter your Email address and

Password.

Click Login.

Click Account on the menu bar.

Select the desired language and the number of

dictation minutes for the SpeechScribe transcription

service. Click on Buy now.

Tip

• Enable the automatic recharge function, which will

recharge your account with a predened amount

once a certain threshold is reached. Select the Auto-

recharge credit box.

• Enable the Transcription with multiple speakers

option to allow transcription of interviews, telephone

conversations, meetings and more. Here you can

choose one, two, three, four, ve or more than ve

speakers. If you select more than ve speakers, you

will receive an oer by email.

• For full cost control you can activate a notication

which will send you an email telling you when the

limit is reached. To do this, click Account on the

menu bar and then click on

Edit account.
